Some of the most brutally honest songwriting proving she’s angry, and rightfully so.
“When The Pawn…” by Fiona Apple is a bold and passionate album in the sense that the instrumentation is straight up in your face with addicting melodies and musicality, and that of the song writing where it is just so honest and once again passionate that feels therapeutic in a way.
The instrumentation is where I’ll start off because damn it’s good. I have to give props ... read more
This is Paris Texas hitting the MattyBRaps “oh? you thought it was over” move, and I’m so glad it wasn’t over after their first EP.
yep yep yep yep, these dudes know how to have fun and also go hard simultaneously
this album proves that Pusha and Malice are quite literally unable to run out of the most grimiest coke bars.
ok fine, you win.
I’ve held of on writing a review on this album, ever since it came out. I listened to it fully through, then again straight after. And honestly, I just couldn’t wrap my head around it. Every single time I listened, I felt like I still haven’t digested the album fully. But after a little over a month and countless listens later, here is my godforsaken review on this album.
This is truly Ben’s most ambitious, and biggest thing he has done yet. Even to ... read more
this is definitely my favorite Jaydes project, and for one big reason, it actually sounds like there was an actual artistic direction and aim behind it. This is some great plugg music, and that’s all it has to be. It doesn’t have to be anything bigger than that, it strives in its simplicity. most songs on here are bangers, I don’t think there’s any weak points on this tape really. I love the borderline singing delivery. almost as if he’s floating on the track, ... read more
this album starts of with a fantastic song and then very quickly drives straight into a brick wall of just basic plugg music with weak delivery. but still I think some songs on here are pretty alright and vibey. Not bad, not amazing either, just middle of the road, and sometimes that’s enough. A lot of people name this album to be messy, and I do agree with that but I feel like that’s kind of the point. sure there are some pretty weak moments here and there but they’re all ... read more
this just honestly sucks man, there’s no way else to put it. the suckiest of music, this is. do i think, it’s god awful? no. i just dont think there’s anything memorable about this. for a punk rock album, quite literally any other punk rock album would be a better alternative to this. sure it may seem good to someone who hasn’t lent their ears to do this genre, but it’s really nothing special. i do think that last song “hysterical” is pretty alright and ... read more
there are some great ideas displayed here, and it just goes to show that jaydes does have the creative ability to make something great but too fucking bad, it’s only THREE MINUTES LONG. FOUR SONGS, THREE MINUTES. DAWG 😭😭😭😭
ONCE AGAIN BACK IS THE INCREDIBLE!!
“It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back” is one of the pinnacles of 80s hiphop, and honestly one of the best rap albums of all time. Other than having the gnarliest album title ever, this album is just fully raw. It goes full guns blazing in every song, and even in 2025 as I’m writing this, nothing about this album feels outdated. It manages to be an item in the time capsule of the 80s while not sounding like something that’s ... read more
I remember getting this album recommended by a friend and tossing it to the side after finding out it was 2 hours long. Months later, I had a really long flight coming up so I decided to download the album cause why not right? I think it was the first time I ever downloaded an album on Spotify. But god, hearing this performance from start to finish was such a euphoric and beautiful experience that it almost refreshed my mind into this blissful state. I often come back to this record to get that ... read more
This honestly might be the first ever recorded method of time travel because it never feels like 35 minutes have passed when I listen to this album, and I’ve listened to it countless times.
Earl manages to still be able to make moody abstract hip hop cuts like he has done all these years. It’s great to see how much he’s evolved especially in his lyrical content. This album is great, nothing that phenomenal but then again, EVERY Earl album has grown on me very significantly, and LLL will probably also grow on me. It’s got some great chill cuts on it and just so happens to be named after a Facebook mom’s favorite quote, so.. I’m not complaining.

“Revengeseekerz” was one of my favorite albums of this year because there was something truly unique about that album. I saw a lot of people dumb it down to just “rage music” but they couldn’t be more wrong. Sure it had rage elements, but it was something more dense than that. It used rage, edm, digicore, and hardstyle elements to create an album that was more than just a rage album. It had this whole rave and club background with it. Every song lead up to ... read more
