solid project. it’s a fun lil album, that’s a bit short but it does what it wants to do pretty well. the banger to dud ratio is very much tipping over to the banger side. If I had to complain about one thing, it’s honestly just the drums. The drums get pretty repetitive after song to song, and it’s pretty noticeable, especially the snare drum. But honestly that’s just a minor complaint cause what we got here is pretty nice.

Despite having a crazy band name, Mr Beast Death 2030 strives in its fantastic instrumentation and strange vocal delivery. For fans of BCNR, Slint, and Unwound, you’d love this. if you take a bunch of genres and musical ideas, and threw them inside of blender, what would come out wouldn’t be so different than what this album sounds like. In concept, it feels like it would be a shit shake, directionless and just more chaotic than cohesive, but in execution, it is not. After listening to this whole thing, I genuinely had to ask myself if I was dreaming or not
from being a fan of his YouTube to being a fan of his art pop folktronica artistry. Quadeca really came out guns blazing with this project which tells a beautiful yet haunting story.
