Bro think she Yves Tumor. This was pretty fun but also a very surface level experience and I got nothing out of this on returning listens. These songs are very one dimensional except for which Goldfish is probably the most interesting song content wise, it just felt the most ambitious. Still not a bad EP and I enjoyed the writing and how it was never the same as the last track. LOOP isn’t outright bad though and still has enough personality to set it apart from other K-Pop projects mostly ... read more
Fun and entertaining for the sake of taking the piss out of everything which was what Slim Shady did best. Houdini really is Without Me part two but in a way that is still charming and rewarding for a nostalgic fan. The sample is okay and gives us a good enough The Eminem Show feel and the rapping is just okay as well. Some notable jabs and pokes here and there which aren’t surprising, but everything comes together to make an interesting song that for once has me a bit hopeful for what is ... read more
Caught up has an addicting groove and really memorable hook. I love the way this song is sung by everyone, it really feels like a group effort the way these girls sing different parts and provide background vocals for each other. The atmosphere is deep and sincere with a very miniscule amount of components making the moody climate feel powerful. There's an awesome bridge which feels ethereal when it strips the instrumental of the strings and drums and builds a new one with angelic singing and a ... read more
I think the cover art is only slightly more horrific than the music.
Brooke Candy is an agenda pushing Pop artist who isn’t afraid of crossing a social boundary. They’re bold in terms of choices and almost as bold as their grimey disgusting voice when under autotune. As you can guess Sexorcism is all about love and lust but in an objectifying and hostile manner that is not for the faint of hearts. While I have no problem with this I’m forced to wince when it comes to the ... read more

Although stunningly uninteresting the talents here tease at the idea of a potentially good R&B attempt down the road when Coi feels like adapting and evidently has her mind set on it too.
I can't be bothered spinning this again. This BMTH release is a culmination of Hyperpop and Alt Metal in the most uninteresting way I've ever heard. The D&B production bores the crap out of me when it turns up and the writing is the most disconcerted the band has ever sounded. Its overdoing emo and crosses the line of being dramatic and over the top. n/A tries to be realistic and telling of the real world with its narrative but its so awfully cringe in its presentation that it gives these ... read more
14 minutes disguises itself as a raw and abrasive style of Indie Rock but it’s just egregious in it’s bad production. The only lyrics on this EP that I actually really liked was the thought-provoking content on 1.23.23, sadly it has to be ruined by the glitching intonation of Dominic’s audio manipulation. The songs on here are always made worse by every different way that Fike alters his natural voice.
The cuts here that feature an acoustic guitar are clearly trying to evoke ... read more
@Missing_Lyriks PLEASE DON’T COME FOR ME IM SORRY ILY. Thanks for the recommendation though :). Although full of courage and power I don’t find a lot of enjoyment in Walk Like This. This single is a sex-centric bop that is full of moody tones and it is clear why it has amassed an audience.
I’m not completely cultivated by the way this song is written to be honest, as solid as the flow is I find the lust loathing comments like “I’ve been a bad girl, I’ve ... read more
This is such an extremely draining listen as the auditor has to put up with over an hour of writing that is trying to be worthwhile. The only thing that THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT really brings in substance is an elegy of Taylor's feelings but in a completely cringe way. She completely crosses the line when she overshares about Matt Healy especially his pill problems which is a petty way of reckoning him. Like all TS albums this one is just hymns about her love life, but the reason why this ... read more
Kendrick ruined this man to the point where he lost the will to rap. Big 3? Nah big 300.
You have seriously got to be a sick fuck to make this song. Politically you are saying you side with mass genocide, racism and antisemitism. What an unhinged edgey white boy banger. Terrible lyrics, terrible flow, terrible delivery, terrible beat and terrible message.
This really isn't as bad as people are making it out to be. I find Sexyy Red a cultivating comedian and her bars are always full of character which is what I like about her. It should be a point of contention though that in order for you to actually enjoy this mixtape you do have to be willing to open yourself up to Sexyy Red rapping about how wet her coochie is no mater how masculine you are, and if you don't like it that's okay too.
In Sexyy We Trust is about as Trap as you can get with ... read more
Listen to me I'm not trying to rage bait or farm engagement from my score its just how I feel, I respect everyone else's.
Clancy's first two singles were enough to have me staying up until midnight here in Australia for this release, even on a school night. I have to say though I really wasn't feeling Backslide as I felt like they touched into the sounds they entered on Blurryface which I despised. These singles were released in their canonical placement so from this point on in the album we ... read more
Just a really shitty mix with some pretty cute writing. Not the most flattering thing to drop to announce your album but nonetheless I'm quite excited still, I like the staccato reverberated piano drops and flute addition. Sadly so much is battling in this mix and it doesn't hit a peaceful balance, we get the electric guitar and the grading synth suffocating in the horde of tracks which adds an antique atmosphere that sounds like the sonic version of a cluttered bedroom. The writing and hook ... read more
Peak pop duo and trash pop duo come together to make pretty good pop quadruple song
Single handedly the most potently offensive album I’ve heard this year. Oppy Day one of the best songs I’ve ever heard though. Also I promise you I listened to the entire thing, I took two 10 minute breaks, one was for the toilet and the other was to have tea with my mum. Overall YOUNG GENIUS is tragically repugnant and I refuse to return to it ever.
AMAMA is expertly produced and is a definitive Indie Pop release of this year. I love how dreamy Crumb tends to be with their music and this album forces you into an environment that feels like a coma of dissipating consciousness and multiplied mental freedom. It puts the hard thinking side of my brain to sleep which I need sometimes.
My favourite moments were the sensational intro, the fulfilling track The Bug and Genie as well. The second half loses around 10-20% of my interest but I feel ... read more
It’s such a shame to see this band get regressively worse, it’s like they’re stepping down some stairs and their retirement is at the bottom. Their writing on Neon Pill (and more specifically the song) has the most nursery rhyme-esque and safe choruses most of the time that don’t captivate my attention as a fan of their earlier work. The shift in sound makes for a boring experience by sacrificing the bands old ways.
The intermediate section is so terrible with ... read more
