I was super hyped for this album upon it’s announcement (I love Royal Blood’s music, their first album specifically) and needless to say, the hype mostly paid off. One of my favorite albums of this year so far. Summer 2000 deserves more praise, a pretty good debut album.
This album is gonna have Twin Fantasy type cult status in a couple years, I'm fucking calling it.
It’s almost funny how unbelievably bitter Will Toledo is on this album.
I have no fucking clue why I was so harsh toward MCR for so long. This album is fantastic.
It manages to feel like a short film (exactly how Kendrick intended it to) and tell a complex, heartfelt story about life in Compton.
