Less flat version of Like That, Kanye be spitting absolute nonsense but at least he's spitting which is more than I can say for Future. Obviously this one lacks an incredible Kendrick verse but I'd honestly take a more consistently well rounded version of this song rather than just waiting for the "good part" to come on.
Clearly, this man saw the sun.
FAVS: the BLACK seminole, the ride-, WE SAW THE SUN! and REACH THE SUNSHINE.
Least FAVS: pRETTy and drive ME crazy!
On my first listen I could not decipher half of the sounds that El-P managed to create throughout this album and I loved damn near every second of it.
FAVS: Stepfather Factory, The Nang, Dr. Hellno & The Praying Mantus and Blood
Okay so hear me out.
I've had a bit of a character arch around this album. This, like many other Cudi fans was by far my least favourite album of his. I found the instrumentals repetitive and boring, I found his vocals grading and all around just awful but goddamn it it's actually what I somewhat enjoy about it now. That's the thing, on the surface I don't take back any of the things I said about this album, I still agree with some of my harshest criticisms I have about it(Beavis and Butthead ... read more
Why do I wanna eat the album cover
Favs: Say you Will, Heartless, Robocop and Coldest Winter
Least Favs: Bad News and See you in my Nightmares
When I originally listened to this thing, I found myself walking away thinking, "Huh, that was alright I guess." I felt as though this album's abrasiveness was unnecessary and made it harder to listen to it than anything. I loved the experimental direction, as I still do but found the overall quality and style of the album to be all over the place and far too messy to find a cohesive experience in this thing. The strange part was that despite my obvious glaring issues with this LP I ... read more
Killer Mike never disappoints when it comes to pure rapping proficiency, and this song is no exception. I love the cynical edge that he ingrains into things as basic as rapping about "how much better I am than my haters" and still make it interesting somehow.
I mean, it's not really bad but honestly I was incredibly disappointed at how this album turned out. Most of the songs on here are either forgettable or have aspects I really like or really dislike. Wilshire was really the only one that stood out to me, and on it's own merits is a great song. Oh well, to each their own, not feelin this one mister krabs.

Least Favs: None really
Yeah I'm not feelin this one, chief. Never really liked Lil Nas X so my perspective on this song might be a little biased but let me say, I really don't give a fuck. This song is sonically better than Panini as it actually has some interesting instrumentals and his singing is actually tolerable at times, but everything else is awful. The only way you'd really understand the central theme of the song is if you watch the video and see all of the biblical imagery, because apparently this guy's ... read more
I like this album.

I literally could not stop playing this song for three weeks straight, it was strangely the best and worst thing ever.
Pretty awesome song, Part 1, 4 and 5 being the obvious best parts. My "let me put a hammer and sickle in all my social media bios so random people on the internet know where I align myself politically without any regard for the logic behind why I should not do that" friend was not a fan tho. Can't please everyone I guess.
In a remarkable twist of who the fuck cares, I somehow winded back on this site. If whoever happens to read this is gives enough of a shit to know why I'm back reviewing this random song by a guy whose music I originally had no connection with, and the title and artwork allude to a very niche political ideology and the song itself seems to heavily imply is taking that same stance; A friend recommended it to me. Now since that shit is out of the way, time to talk about the song itself. While I ... read more
I sort of knew Kid Cudi would bring me back to this site, despite it's affiliation with Eminem who I think has not been great as of recently. I mean I loved their collab in I Hear Them Calling was actually really good(although Em just produced it), so in my mind there is no way it would be bad, especially with Dot producing it this time. Now all this being said, what do I think about this track? My answer is even if you half know me in real life, you know this'll be the shit I bop to for a few ... read more
Fuck you, analyzing this song got me an 85 in Grade 11 class. Not really, but you get the point it's a pretty damn good song.
When MC Ride said;" BLOBLOBLBOBLBOBLOBBLBOBLBOBLBOBLOBBLOBLBO דאַנקען פֿאַר לייענען דעם באַבע ", I felt that shit. Bottomless Pit is the 7th studio album by the one, the only, Death Grips. This is my first Death Grips album I have fully listened to because of the positive reviews following this album and the fact that I didn't want to quite listen to The Money Store just yet. I gotta be honest, my first few listens consisted of me constantly laughing at this ... read more
Now this shit.... this shit right here is AOTY. This is undoubtedly going to be very hard for the year to out do THIS. I ain't even fucking around, why would I be? I listened to this shit five times in a row, trying to take scientific research on how an album can be so awesome. What makes this feel like even more of a masterpiece to me is the fact that it released at such a perfect time. Honestly, it's like the rap gods' magnum opus especially in such a controversial, climactic time we're in ... read more
With the excellent placement of the song, now with the album out, it's no doubt it's a fiery start to this masterpiece. Only problem is it's a little too short.
