Not sure what people were expecting; Cube has always had pretty average bars overall and this album literally just sounds like your normal Cube project. Sure, it’s a little dated and isn’t anything ground breaking, but I mean fucking hell its Ice Cube, this is exactly what this project would sound like whether it be the 90’s or modern day.
I could write a long review explaining why this album is a 100, but you could also just listen to this masterpiece.
Just remember All Caps when you spell the mans name.
After a very controversial 3rd album release in "Everbody", Logic was searching to capture the fans the way his previous work did. The next move though would cement Logic as one of today's most "definition of average" rappers, giving us an extremely poorly done mixtape with some of the worst attempts at making catchy trap beats good I have ever seen.
The Zombies are back following their debut "3001: A Laced Oddesy" with a very disappointing project. While this album has its wonderful moments, I find that it is extremely long winded and some tracks don't even sound like the Zombies. While I welcome sonic changes from my artists, the tracks that did change from their formula did not meet my expectations.
