A Ferocious beast of a noise rock album that will hit you like a steam train. My personal favorite album of 2018 so far.

Amongst the finest albums of the 21st century so far, Aviary is definitely a step up from anything Miss Holter has created previously. Even though it is technically pop music for the most part, there is a lot of influence from many other genres such as modern classical,jazz,folk and free improvisation. It is certainly too experimental to really appeal to most but for those that appreciate the brilliance of Aviary it is an album to really treasure for life.

Beautiful at times, disturbing at times Mr. Kirby following in the same vein as all of his other albums.
Utilizing 30s and 40s dance hall and ballroom samples they are often distorted without recognition creating some truly unique ambient music.

Haken once again have created a very strong album here. Comparable to their previous LP, Vector is more on the heavy side of progressive metal than their earlier albums. Definitely a contender for metal album of the year.
