future is still in his prime, and metro can still cook up hard minimalistic trap beats
probably the worst project trippie redd has ever released, including his early work
your career is literally going downhill for obvious reasons and now u decided to release a collab album with a guy, who gets clowned everywhere he goes for his fake-ass aesthetic and lame-ass music. what are you doing bruh
and the jid feature is horrible as well
who would have thought that an artist who is known for his epic and conceptual ballads would release an album consisting entirely of tracks for moshpits and late night dj sets
insano has a completely different direction and atmosphere, which could be considered as a downgrade compared to his past works. but to be honest, i wasn't expecting another man on the moon from cudi
the album from the beginning to the end is drenched in rhythmic beats with small digressions in the form of funk, rage, ... read more
an album that will take you back to a carefree summer
there are no mind-blowing lines or outstanding instrumentals on halo, not at all.the album is taken by its simplicity and warm guitar riffs. and bakar, thanks to his vocal delivery, can turn a mediocre line into an interesting performance
i have always associated sampha with disturbing music, music that reaches down to your fingertips, music that deals with grief and loss. however,
on this album he leans toward more hopeful and appreciative narrative without losing touch with reality.
this album has a certain magic about it.
lahai gives me some hope for the future days, no matter how cruel were the past ones.
i never ever listened to key glock's project from start to end and from the first listen i can say that,
this was at least interesting most of the time. can`t complain.
andre is the greatest rap artist to not have a debut album in his entire career. you'd think he'd have to release a debut in a genre he is already mastered,
to finally cement his status, but no such luck.
instead of the usual rap, andre combines tribal ambient and synthesizers, showing us his inner state. there are not even lyrics here, the only lyrics are the track titles and your own thoughts while listening to this performance.
the album is extremely melancholic and elaborate. listening ... read more
i swear to god, in a couple years trippie will have status just like lil pump right now
that's literally what i wanted to hear from drake on for all the dogs
i love wayne and i love when 2 chainz put some effort, but on this album something goes wrong
i don`t know what happened to trippie, and neither does he.
this album/ep is named after his son saint michael and the main concept of this project is to spread love, peace and positivity, as he said himself. but, i nearly hear some differences from his recent projects.
what has changed this time?
it's so funny to me that trippie said all this stuff about positivity and he still manages to rap about money, cars, clothes and how he can catch his opps lacking.
i remember the time when trippie ... read more
it's boring and interesting at the same time. i wanted to give more context but i'm still confused and curious about this album
the sequel to pray for paris is here. was it worth it?
of course,
this album still shows how westside gunn still can luxuriously create big and quality projects.
it's like an opposite version of pray for paris: long, with a lot of features and with different subgenres here and there.
i'm glad that we didn't get another boom bap album from wsg, and that he got out of his comfort zone.
lyrically wsg gets outshined a couple of times, but he still can impress you.
the production is so confusing ... read more
