There was so much potential in their early work, but with every new release The Wrecks seem to be taking away a piece of what made them unique. It sounds like they're just trying to write a hit or something, and I'm really disappointed because I really did like most of their earlier stuff, and even a couple tracks off of Infinitely Ordinary, but it they keep going in this direction it's just gonna get worse. The lyrics aren't even clever on this EP, which is something I really enjoyed from them ... read more
This album has only grown on me since it was released, and my opinions on each song still change and develop slightly each time I listen through. Almost every song on here has been my favourite at some point, but I think my opinions have finally settled enough for me to write this review.

I loved this at first, but it got old real quick. There isn't really anything wrong with most of these songs, they just didn't hold up very well long term. For example, while 'Freaking Out' was kind of charming and fun at first, it became more annoying that anything with repeated listens. Most of this is pretty overproduced too, which gets a little bit grating to listen to after a while. I think most of the best parts are the spoken sections, and the lyrics are fairly strong on most songs. ... read more
