I was going to write an insanely long review for this but I didn't end up having the time. Suffice it to say that this album is full of bangers, but is still an incredibly emotional experience, and it's some of Twenty One Pilots' best work so far. The long-awaited conclusion to their five-album narrative is nothing short of spectacular.

I could never have seen this collaboration coming in a million years, but thank God it happened. Ali's vocals and Yvette's guitar wizardry go shockingly well together.
This song is the final form of glitch-rock. It's unique, it's catchy, it's well-structured, and the drop takes you to another plane of existence. No notes.
Well-written, well-produced, catchy, glitchy, emotional - everything I've come to expect from Defsharp at this point, perfected. An incredible track.
I know Vessel’s vocals are very much a love-it-or-hate-it thing, but they’re used to phenomenal effect in this fantastically written reworking of an already great song
Simply one of the best metalcore albums ever made. A beautiful, yet raw and terrifying, blend of shoegaze sound design, downtuned guitars, and incredible screams & clean vocals.
There are not nearly enough acoustic instruments in metal. The contrast between heavy instrumentation and clean vocals and violin at times is beautiful, and the acoustic passages really help the song structure as well. Not to mention the fact that every single musician working on this project is insanely talented, and all of their contributions can be heard cleanly in the final mix. Whatever genre description you want to give to this album, at least know this: it’s good music.
Harry Wilkinson screaming “THEY LOOK DOWN ON US” lives rent free in my head now.
This is more than an album. It’s a work of protest boiling with righteous anger. It’s an awe-inspiring collection of incredible instrumentation, ranging from soft and quiet to overwhelming walls of melodic noise. It’s loud and bold, unafraid to call out the government and corporations responsible for poisoning the waters with hatred. But by the end of the album, it circles back around ... read more
A couple points taken off because the last bit is kinda goofy but this is an incredibly beautiful song and everyone reading this should immediately go listen to it.
This song is a banger and there is no other way to describe it. The lyrics are an incredible exploration of human nature and our tendency to ignore the very grave societal issues we’re facing in favor of pretending everything’s fine, and the instrumentation is brilliant indie rock. The distortion on the bass in the chorus especially is unlike anything I’ve heard before. One of the catchiest songs I’ve ever heard.
Just a really goddamn fun indie DNB record. This is an album of contrasts - heavy, loud beats with playful sound design; deep lyricism with a healthy dose of playful irreverence. Stan somehow makes these combinations that feel like they shouldn't go together work perfectly, and they combine to create one of the best EDM albums of the year so far.

85 > 90 this has grown on me quite a bit, which is saying something for an album that I already loved
Girl, I love my computer too, but taking it THAT far is uncalled for...
Wonderful pixelated chaos. On her debut record, Ninajirachi takes fast BPMs, bright soundscapes, and digital maximalism to a euphoric extreme. This album is a stroke of anthemic brilliance, with lyricism exploring the themes of creation, escapism, nostalgia and online culture, all while being possibly the most ... read more
This album requires a decent bit of patience to properly enjoy, but if you're willing to listen to slow, seven-minute Southern Gothic epics, you'll be rewarded by beautiful acoustic soundscapes and compelling poetic lyricism, all covered in a shroud of forlorn ambience and heartbreaking songwriting. One of the most ethereal albums I've ever listened to.
The scene that corresponds to this song in Arcane is a masterpiece, but it wouldn't be nearly as good without this. This song is absolute cinematic perfection.
Man threw ambient hip-hop, acoustic folk, and weird experimental noisy bs in a blender and it’s aoty.
I would write a full review but I’m not even remotely qualified enough. What an album.
