It sounds similar to their previous album, but the tracks hit slightly harder. Although not my favourite Nothingface album - that title goes to their next and final album, Skeletons - Bleeder is a perfect song and in my opinion, the best in Nothingface's discography,
Deftones' first step away from the aggressive nu metal. Was Around The Fur better? Yes. Is White Pony still a great album? Hell yeah.
This album was the album that got me into music, and it was my first 'favourite album'. Although some songs feel dated or straight up stupid, the songs from track 5 to track 12 are simply music for the ears, not the brain. And it still sounds as good as ever.
Lots of people dislike this album. I think it's genuinely quite good, using a new, unused sound and introducing it into alternative metal.
Once again, Mr Bungle changes their genre, and makes their second album where most of the tracks are genuine songs. Although not quite iconic or hard-hitting as their debut, it certainly keeps up. It could, however, deal with a bit more aggression to make it on-par.
Like most Bizkit albums, the songs on this album are either extremely bland or amazing. Overall a fun listen.
Static-X at their most iconic nu phase. Genuinely one of the best industrial-nu metal albums ever.
You could say this album is generic, that you wouldn't be able to tell it apart from the other less popular nu metal bands from the late 90s. You'd be right, but the riffs are too good to ignore.
Korn comes back and makes a metal classic, loaded with more disgusting tracks that sound really good.
It's none to rival Toxicity or Mezmerize, but it's still a pretty good album.
