Megadeth - The System Has Failed
87

It's pretty fucking good considering Megadeth were 18 years past their prime. Easily the best 21st century Megadeth album.

Slipknot - Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)
97

Probably the most accessible Slipknot album to normies. And surprisingly, Slipknot managed to make it amazing.

Korn - Take a Look in the Mirror
88

There is nothing wrong with this album. Great screams, great riffs. Just not crazily special.

Dope - Group Therapy
85

I feel like I need group therapy after this. It's metal for braindead people. At least it sounds nice.

Mushroomhead - XIII
99

The best, most iconic Mushroomhead lineup. Also one of the best albums of all time.

Static-X - Shadow Zone
90

This album is so aggressive yet so fun. It's like it wants to attack me or something.

Limp Bizkit - Results May Vary
85

Another overhated album from 2003. It's bland. It's generic. Almost all of the songs are fillers. But if you listen to it from a different perspective, it's a fun album and there are a couple pretty good songs there.

Metallica - St. Anger
88

Way too overhated. The snares quite suit the aggressive tone of the album. Maybe if thrash is your favourite genre it's unappealing. But for somebody who's favourite is alternative metal, some songs on here are really good.

Deftones - Deftones
87

A darker change from Deftones' previous three albums. It's good, but it's far from their best.

Nothingface - Skeletons
94

Nothingface's best album. Banger after banger, which shows that Nothingface truly deserved to be among the popular alt metal bands such as Slipknot.

System of a Down - Steal This Album!
88

This album is good, but it feels like a compilation of songs that were discarded from Toxicity.

Disturbed - Believe
90

A slight downgrade from The Sickness, but the riffs on this album are among Disturbed's best.

Korn - Untouchables
89

Kind of like Issues in the way it's a more mature Korn album, but a bit better and less filler tracks.

Dope - Life
89

Overhated like most of Dope's stuff. Some bands just don't need to be serious to sound good.

System of a Down - Toxicity
96

SOAD at their peak. This could be the best majorly-political album of all time.

Slipknot - Iowa
98

Amazing album. This album could have been perfect if the riffs were just a bit chunkier.

Static-X - Machine
93

Static-X's best album, branching away from nu-metal into pure industrial metal.

TOOL - Lateralus
93

What a spiral of an album. It shows a new side of TOOL and it's promising.

80

Not bad - far from their best album, but Promises is one of the best metal ballads of all time.

Limp Bizkit - Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water
94

Undoubtedly the best Limp Bizkit album, and their only one which has a very little amount of terrible songs.
