Sickboyrari - 11 AM

Black Krays most underrated song by far. I wonder what the mixtape would've sounded like.

Talk Talk - Laughing Stock
60

album a snoozer besides a couple tracks

The Who - Who's Next
67

you'd be fine hearing just the intro and outro, the rest is just decent dad rock for the most part

FearDorian - Before You Press Play
73

feardorian carried most songs ngl. production is really good tho.

bloodhounds - RED
20

they deadass put fnf characters on this beat

Playboi Carti - Die Lit
93

Carti actually a genius i swear

Hunned Mill - BASQUIAT
74

anti social is really good

Rx Papi - Where Im From
75

fw it but wish he would bring back some of that energy in his voice

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper
55

cant deny the instrumental quality but the whole albums boring

Che - Sayso Says
89

che so peak

Boris - Pink
90

album is overall amazing but for most of the record it felt like the intro was going to be the stand out track but when I got to My Machine I knew it was going to prelude something special. Just Abandoned Myself rivals Naki Kyoku as my favorite Boris song it is absolutely phenomenal.

Drake - What Did I Miss?
80

drake drops an actual good song. nice.

Boris - Akuma No Uta
92

whole album is an absolute gem but naki kyoku one of the best songs ive heard

Boris - Boris at Last -Feedbacker-
81

the sound is amazing although im kinda disappointed there wasnt much going on for a lot of the album. i wish there was more structure overall like in part 2 and 3 but everything is really high quality stuff regardless with the rest creating a really nice ambience

Self Esteem - A Complicated Woman
NR

5k and ill give it 100

Chief Keef - Almighty So 2
62

idk shit just doesnt hit like the original. production feels overdramatic yet basic asf throughout the whole thing. keef does good on the beats but it just isnt interesting at all for the most part.

Chris Travis - Hidden in the Mist
94

its still free Max B you bitch

Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory
74

kinda disappointed. Vince staples is solid on this album and even though the production is definitely unique on most songs it just doesn't hit particularly hard. maybe it'll grow on me

D2x - THE HUNGER ERA
86

This style is very familiar but he does it incredibly well

"@Mellesteen the deciding factor is carti is not involved in my life or anyones i know. tf am i supposed to do abt carti beating his girl? not listen to his music? fuck that because id be a hypocrite if i didnt stop listening to half of the artists from my favorite genre. i dont care about one domestic abuse involving people i dont know that deeply, not that hard to comprehend. and once again why are you even writing a review for a trap album if you're gonna go on a rant about not supporting bad people this whole post is completely pointless."

"@Mellesteen it's not "too much work" im not gonna react to the evil shit carti did cause its not of my business esp as long as his music bangs. dont even know why you're writing a review for a trap artist if youre so uptight abt morals like jesus christ this genre of music is named after selling hard drugs. not to mention you somehow snuck in marxism on a thread about playboi carti how white could you possibly get"

"tf carti being a bad person gotta do with me? like 60% of the rappers i listen to were prolly involved in some evil shit and like 80% if we're judging rappers by who they're deeply affiliated with"

"@Rollo_P you have every right not to listen to music that contains transphobic material, especially considering it may offend people you know irl. However, it's completely hypocritical to uptake a particular issue with transphobia WITHOUT criticizing the other themes surrounding Gangster/Trap/Drill rap. Personal discomforts is understandable, but taking a moral issue with rap that promotes transphobia, without keeping your standards consistent with everything else is what i find really confusing. Street rap just simply isn't the category of music that you can attempt to place moral standards on, while also enjoying the genre, without coming across as a massive hypocrite."

On Rollo_P's review of Eazy-E - Eazy-Duz-It
"@HattieJosh no im “whining” because im confused over your sense of priorities. how is transphobia too far but you’re fine with glorification of gun violence, violent misogyny, and drug dealing?"
On Rollo_P's review of Eazy-E - Eazy-Duz-It
"@HattieJosh brodie cant read 5 lines 😭 theres literally a max character limit in replies to prevent yapping. and in the words of Ice Cube, "You little maggot, Eazy-E turned f*****". Also how exactly am I a bigot? when did I say anything in defense of transphobia or homophobia?"
On Rollo_P's review of Eazy-E - Eazy-Duz-It
"@HattieJosh please shut about that lmao. When rappers continue to actively participate in the violence and drama even after they're rich and famous, it becomes very obvious that their music is not some grand deeper perspective on street life, but rather glorification to play off the massive media outcry and controversy over their violent lyrics leading to their success. It's glorification. Not only that, but a lot of these rappers would still continue to beef and kill each other. Not to say there isn't any social commentary, N.W.A certainly had a fair amount of that, but using that as a defense to the violent lyrics becomes void when these rappers are still very much involved with violence, or at least heavily associated with it."
On Rollo_P's review of Eazy-E - Eazy-Duz-It
"@HattieJosh how are you going to act like transphobia isn't considerably tamer than damn near any other topic in the album? i don't understand how people that listen to this genre regularly get upset when something morally wrong is said? do you not pay attention to damn near everything else?"
On Rollo_P's review of Eazy-E - Eazy-Duz-It
