only track that stops it from being perfect in my eyes is girl loves me, not bad by any means though.
songs were consistently in the same range of quality, definitely above average but nothing that blew me. still was a very comforting and pleasant listen. really like that outro track tho
i struggled with getting into it musically but it sounds fun at times and a few tracks become more enjoyable for me purely off that energy
never thought i'd be a big enjoyer of a thrash metal album but this really hit the spot
There are about 6-7 great songs that i love on here but for the most part this album kinda boring. idk i wish i could get into it more.
rating only the deluxe tracks this shit tuff but he fs had other grails he coulda put on here instead
Lupe is fantastic on this and the production is incredibly well made and smooth as fuck. though i wish sometimes the production had something more going on
Don't get all the praise. Nearly all the songs sound very half-baked and incomplete. They're decent as is, but compared to Let's Start Here it sounds very empty and left a lot to be desired imo.
Favorite tracks: Midnight, Transport Me
Love this album but i hate how quiet it is on spotify especially considering it's supposed to rage

"@Rollo_P you have every right not to listen to music that contains transphobic material, especially considering it may offend people you know irl. However, it's completely hypocritical to uptake a particular issue with transphobia WITHOUT criticizing the other themes surrounding Gangster/Trap/Drill rap. Personal discomforts is understandable, but taking a moral issue with rap that promotes transphobia, without keeping your standards consistent with everything else is what i find really confusing. Street rap just simply isn't the category of music that you can attempt to place moral standards on, while also enjoying the genre, without coming across as a massive hypocrite."

When rappers continue to actively participate in the violence and drama even after they're rich and famous, it becomes very obvious that their music is not some grand deeper perspective on street life, but rather glorification to play off the massive media outcry and controversy over their violent lyrics leading to their success. It's glorification. Not only that, but a lot of these rappers would still continue to beef and kill each other. Not to say there isn't any social commentary, N.W.A certainly had a fair amount of that, but using that as a defense to the violent lyrics becomes void when these rappers are still very much involved with violence, or at least heavily associated with it."
