A few bangers on this album (all of me, redrum, nee-nah, dangerous, etc..) but a lot of his usual stuff kind of falls flat on here. 21 also tries some new shit, the soul samples on this sample are fun, but the production is sometimes lacking, also not a huge fan of the inclusion of singers on the album, their performances aren't bad but doesn't fit right on the album. 21's rapping is also hella weak on some songs. The best tracks on this album are so fucking good
favorites: Devil In A New Dress, Runaway, POWER, So Apalled
Least favorites: Blame Game, Monster, Lost In The World
Major step up from his previous catalogue for me

Worst: Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast
Some of the songs on here feel outdated to me but a lot of the tracks still go hard asf π
I really liked this album ever since it came out but certain songs just were not good and bloated this album π If you straight up just cut off tracks 11-17 (Werewolf and the end are valid imo) and keep literally everything else you shave off 20 minutes worth of mid and/or reusing other peoples songs and you have a top 3 Uzi project

"@Rollo_P you have every right not to listen to music that contains transphobic material, especially considering it may offend people you know irl. However, it's completely hypocritical to uptake a particular issue with transphobia WITHOUT criticizing the other themes surrounding Gangster/Trap/Drill rap. Personal discomforts is understandable, but taking a moral issue with rap that promotes transphobia, without keeping your standards consistent with everything else is what i find really confusing. Street rap just simply isn't the category of music that you can attempt to place moral standards on, while also enjoying the genre, without coming across as a massive hypocrite."

When rappers continue to actively participate in the violence and drama even after they're rich and famous, it becomes very obvious that their music is not some grand deeper perspective on street life, but rather glorification to play off the massive media outcry and controversy over their violent lyrics leading to their success. It's glorification. Not only that, but a lot of these rappers would still continue to beef and kill each other. Not to say there isn't any social commentary, N.W.A certainly had a fair amount of that, but using that as a defense to the violent lyrics becomes void when these rappers are still very much involved with violence, or at least heavily associated with it."
