parannoul's best work. by far. and part 5 reminded me ESPECIALLY of boris, the whole noisy aspect applied throughout the album feels so much like merzbow's contributions on rock dream. outstanding

2 and a half hours of just beautiful patterns, some dark and dreary, some enlightening, some that make you contemplate, it's like looking through a museum of different environments through each door you enter.

SO MUCH ENERGY HERE, you love to see it, and the story told on the title track is a very devastating story that each day either becomes truer or it doesn't. amazing album

an absolute trip. dogs especially feeling like sailing through the seas at dawn, watching the sun greet you and everyone behind you

a journey could be anything. could be a mental journey, could be driving on the road looking onto the sunset, could be taking a walk across a snowy forest. whatever that journey may be, this album has you reliving it in real time, through beautiful yet devastating palettes of sound. easy 10

If a random organization took me in and decide they wanted to trip me the hell out, I’d request to put this album on full blast. I’m pretty sure that’s the best way to experience this thing

Cold. Desolate. Walking across what was once a beautiful city, only to see its remnants covered in the cold, sharpening snow. You don’t know what could’ve happened to that city. You just know it’s gone, lying there. In the snow.

Listened to the vinyl version of this, I love how it starts very energetic, very much action going on, then something like farewell happens and just creates a depressing anthem of just pure sonic ascension like omg. This got me. It’s amazing, not near flood by any means but still very VERY solid.

I can see why people compare this to Slint, but honestly I see more of Lift to Experience in this thing. Even the way he does his voice here it reminds me of Pearson himself. Even in the same key as all the tracks on that album. Great song btw

as much as I can make out of it the lyrics here are done well, machhommy’s rapping ability is better than i thought. I know something i can fully talk about though, the production, which is SMOOTH AS HELL. Some of these beats feel mostly Madlib with some Dilla-type wordplay i love it.

DUDE THIS IS THE MOST ENERGETIC THING IVE EVER HEARD IN AN ALBUM. And they somehow make a 2hr album feel not dragged out, this is an easy 10 omg.

This is pure prog rock. If you want prog rock, this is the perfect prog rock album. Full of chaos and energy, the beginning track being made in 1972 is actually insane. Their sound palettes were ahead of time…

The topics covered on this album, many have covered them before , even prior to this album. But slint does them very poetic I’d say. Couple that with very emotional vocal performances, and the dark, yet bright instrument work here. Poetry in motion.

The intricate sampling, the fact that it took 5 or so years(iirc) to find all the samples for this thing and then put them all together in a way that literally doesn’t sound like the original song anymore ? This album is the embodiment of pure patience, culmination, like building the tallest building in the world, to be remembered by millions, for centuries, for eons, for however long it needs to. As evidently shown i am the hugest glazer of this album.

Shinji sato’s final moments captured in this beautiful performance, the tragedy that later possessed this album essentially, and the amazing journey they show going through the entire history of the band up to this point. Easy 10

Perfectly captures the emptiness of what once was a bustling city, or country, or possibly world completely swept by a flood, leaving everything that used to be life, down in its oceans’ pure depths.
