100 follower special. Touch is one of the greatest musical compositions ever created. I’ve never felt so emotional listening to a song, and have never felt shivers up my spine hearing music in my entire life until my first full listen of this absolute masterpiece.
I interpreted the song from the perspective of a robot, since, well, it’s Daft Punk. During the first part, the robot describes never having experienced this “touch” before, or maybe they have and they just ... read more
Banger after banger, great production followed by great production. His take on trap and R&B brings chill, euphoric vibes to the table with minimal missteps.
Best tracks: Euphoria, Cardigan, After Party, Can’t Feel My Legs, Company, Spaceship, No Idea
This album has shaped the rage scene for better or worse, and even despite a couple tracks I can’t care for, WLR was pretty solid. Some of the most unique ideas he’s presented so far.
Best tracks: Rockstar Made, Stop Breathing, New Tank, Vamp Anthem, New N3on, Control, Punk Monk, On That Time, King Vamp, Sky, Over, ILoveUIHateU, F33l Lik3 Dyin
review of only “Unlocked”: the trap beat is cool and Ye’s verse (leaked for a while now) remains and still is pretty good. On the other hand, Max B and French Montana are fighting and rapping off-beat with unbearable flows that genuinely ruin the rest of the song.
(Also this cover absolutely sucks, AI slop is buns)
Too much music, and some of it isn’t the best music that he’s ever created. If you were to trim this album down, starting with the repetitive trap cuts on the back end, you’d end up with a solid entry in his discography.
Best tracks: POP OUT, CRUSH, RATHER LIE, CRANK, GOOD CREDIT, TRIM, COCAINE NOSE, HBA
A wildly inconsistent ride that’s definitely full of bangers that are well-produced and consist of GREAT ideas. At the same time, there’s also some ear-crushing instrumentals where JPEG is just drowning in a wall of sound and some repetitive flows (not so experimental).
Best tracks: Burning Hammer, Pop this Heat, The Ghost Of Emmett Till, Yen, GYBB, TSAR BOMBA, Mask On, Lights, New Era, War Over Land, No Strippers in Heaven
