This LP is the shit. It's basically a peek of Vince's mind;he is forever thoughtful, abrupt and interesting. The only LPs in recent memory that rival this in terms of transcending mainstream hip-hop is Danny Brown's Atrocity Exhibition and Kendrick's To Pimp a Butterfly in my opinion. It won't win any new fans over but those who follow his discography will be pleasantly surprised.
Best Big Sean album up to date. Great production, confident and a cohesive record.
P.S. It's okay to like something that is not critically acclaimed.
You have to be in a certain state of mind to find this album's beauty but once you're in it you will feel your heart ache because of it's beauty. It's a very quiet masterpiece
Anybody with good hearing would find this album amazing. It's so rich and orchestral. His finest album yet
