Taylor Swift fans will over hype it while music snobs hate it purely because it's Taylor Swift.
For me, she has vastly improved her sound in a way that may not last, but is still very welcome from me.
She could have perhaps made it a 13/14 song album by chucking Mirrorball or Mad Woman, still no song here is bad per say.
Don't get me started on that wonderful Bon Iver duo....

I really, genuinly love 'I Was Named After You'. It will be making it onto mixtapes for the rest of the year. The rest of the album doesn't quite catch up to it. Saying that, her voice is truly astonishing and the songwriting is solid throughout the album. I would struggle to name the song solely from the instrument due to a blatant lack of experimentation and variety in that aspect, still this album is one i can very much see myself returning to when i need to sit back and relax.
It's nostalgic and fun, but potentially forgettable.
I mean i listened to it 3 times last week and i've already forgotten about it
