Beautiful, but drags at some points and can get a bit repetitive. I can't help but wish it was a little shorter.
Favorite tracks: Prologue, Pilgrimage, Porcelain, Parfum D'étoiles, Sagu Palm's Song, *Dawn in the Adan*, Adan No Shima No Tanjyosai
Least favorite track: Horo
Paramore is still Paramore. Catchy hooks and passionate vocals are the standouts, and while this does suffer from sounding same-y at times and a couple slow tracks in the middle, this is still a nice enough return to form and an enjoyable listen.
Favorite tracks: *This Is Why*, The News, Running Out Of Time, Big Man Little Dignity, You First, Crave, Thick Skull

I'm not here to deny this album's influence, I'm not here to deny it's a great album, but come on. This is not the best album ever made, not even close to it. I really do want to like OK Computer and Radiohead in general, I've listened to this album so many times just trying my absolute hardest to enjoy it, but I cannot enjoy it to the degree some people do. It's just BORING at too many points. There are plenty of incredible highlights, but I seriously feel like people hyper-fixate on those too ... read more
Yeah, Friday GIrl actually made a really solid pop album. This year's shocking reinventions continue.

Edit: 75>82. Why is this album actually really good
This album fucks. A little slow in the middle, but still enjoyable throughout. I Saw is my song of the year so far.
Favorite tracks: Rice, *I Saw*, Drum, Shoot Me Down, Ululation, Sink Or Swim, Holy Moly, Be Your Lady
Least favorite track: Geronimo
Edit: 91>95. Wow, this album is really good. Even the slower parts I didn't like on my first listen kinda clicked. Every song on this album is like, amazing. I Saw and Holy Moly are some INCREDIBLE tracks. I find very very few issues with this ... read more
While I think this album is a bit overrated in Car Seat Headrest's discography, I still love it. My only real problem with it is that it drags now and then, but it's still incredible.

Despite this album technically being outtakes from Nervous Young Man, I actually prefer this album to NYM and absolutely love Disjecta Membra. While it's missing the cohesion present in most Car Seat Headrest albums, this album still had ridiculously good single power.

Car Seat Headrest made a perfect album that perfectly encapsulates teenage angst with a unique sound. What's new.
Favorite tracks: Fill in the Blank, Vincent, Destroyed by Hippier Powers, (Joe Gets Kicked out of School for Using) Drugs with Friends [But Says This Isn't a Problem], Not What I Needed, Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales, 1937 State Park, Unforgiving Girl, Cosmic Hero, *The Ballad Of The Costa Concordia*, Connect The Dots
Least favorite track: Joe Goes To School
I still think this album is perfect. I prefer the 2018 remake but pretty much everything in my review of that, applies to this. This has a homemade feel to it that creates a whole different listening experience, that is still incredible enjoyable.
Favorite tracks: My Boy, *Beach Life-in-Death*, Sober To Death, Nervous Young Inhumans, Bodys, Cute Thing, High To Death, Famous Prophets (Minds), Twin Fantasy (Those Boys)

An incredible reinvention. Multiple tracks on Lets Start Here have me floating. it drags at some points, but that's a nitpick at most

The singles off this album were certainly awful, and they prepared me for a certainly awful album, but I was pleasantly surprised. While "Gimme" is absolutely insufferable and Unholy is still a bad earworm, pretty much every other track has something to appreciate. It doesn't quite escape the "basic pop" tier, but overall I would consider this an above average pop album.

While this is seen as Against Me!'s descent into studio garbage, I'll still defend this one. There's plenty of sarcasm and punk politics to keep this album in my "pretty damn good" category. It certainly isn't as sonically diverse as Reinventing Axl Rose or as lyrically charged as Transgender Dysphoria Blues, but this is still more or less an enjoyable listen.

An album putting you to sleep doesn't necessarily have to be bad. When I think of albums like Bloom or Heaven or Las Vegas, they do such a good job soothing you that they can help you get a feeling of being snuggled in bed under a warm blanket. This puts me to sleep in a bad way. I'm so bored by these instrumentals that I may as well be listening to nothing at all. They don't really make me feel any strong emotion and I'm just left wondering, "what exactly should I be thinking right ... read more

Favorites: *The Queen Is Dead*, I Know It's Over, Cemetry Gates, Bigmouth Strikes Again, The Boy With The Thorn In His Side, There Is a Light That Never Goes Out

Decided to listen to this full album after liking one of the songs that came up on autoplay, was pleasantly surprised. The vocal performance and some of the instrumentation is a bit too bad sometimes for me to justify giving this a higher score, but there are plenty of certified bangers on here. The lyricism and messaging never falters which is more than enough to keep me engaged.

While I don't agree with the "one of the greatest of all time" sentiments thats sometimes thrown at this album, it is undeniably incredible. Everything on Ágætis Byrjun is simply gorgeous, all of the whirrs and hums sound other-worldly. I do feel like the ambiance goes a bit too far every now and feels out of place, but this is overall consistent enough for me to see why it's considered one of the greats.

Fuck the haters, this album is awesome. The sound it produces is the product of genuine experimentation that is genuinely unique. I've never heard anyone be able to replicate the sound on 1000 Gecs, and I love the sound on 1000 Gecs, so all I can do is constantly revisit this album to get that sound.

Underscores continues with releases that have no right being as good as they are. They create such a unique sound that should sound too silly, but it's just banger on banger. This solidified Underscores as one of my favorite artists, it's one of my favorite EPs ever made
Favorite tracks: *Girls and boys*, Heck, Gunk, Loansharks, Tongue in cheek, Saltfields

Though it would take Kanye a couple more good releases for him to be known as the musical genius he is today, I think he peaked with his first album. This album revolutionized hip-hop at a time where everything was starting to sound very same-y. If you put the beat for Jesus Walks or The New Workout Plan in front of any other artist at the time, it would flop HARD, but Kanye makes 2 album highlights out of them. Also, this album has some of the best skits I've ever heard. It was incredible at ... read more
There are many songs competing for a spot as Kanye's worst on Jesus Is King. Lazy songwriting, and even lazy production at times. Though there are some passable tracks and good beats, this is definitely a below average album and Kanye's worst.
