Ok well I was not expecting to enjoy this album as much as I did

Difficult one to rank. On one hand, some of the heavier songs are just too heavy and a little boring for my tastes, and there's quite a few of them on this album. Upon second listen I haven't changed my rating. I must not be hearing what yall are hearing cuz it's not even like it's just not doing it for me like what I felt initially for radiohead like I actively just don't like a lot of these songs. The lyrics and themes are so edgy it hurts, and that's saying something coming from me. It feels like it's supposed to be this deeper meaningful piece but I don't feel any depth here. They do a lot of new things on this album which is absolutely welcome but at the same time they also make it hard to tell the songs apart from each other with how much they blend together and overall it's not great

This album really takes a swan dive into the asphalt after the first 4 songs! Heh... but it's not bad just kinda plain in the middle

Rage Against the Machine if they knew fucking anything about anything

Everlong and My Hero carry this album HARD but the rest isn't bad just kinda plain

The biggest problem with this album is that most songs on here can scratch 100 sometimes and in those times it's a whole different vibe that genuinely can feel like you're on another plane of existence but those sometimes are pretty rare, and when you're not really in the ideal mood for the song, it's hard to call it anything above an 85. However, I'm bumping it up to a 90 because when it's good it's GOOD.

While DOOM's skits are cool and an important part of his identity as an artist, I'd be lying if I said they didn't get annoying at times, and this album might've made a 100 if it weren't for the skits taking up a good chunk of the album when they really didn't need to be there.

I wish this sucked dookie butt so that I didn't have to give a 90 to anything Jay Z has ever been a part of

The first half of this album is an 85 and the second half is like maybe a 45 the falloff is insane

I don't usually do OSTs but this game's soundtrack is so good it stands on its own as an album

Everyone seems to really like this album but I'm sorry it's just so boring

I respect it more after learning the context surrounding it but man I can't even lie Rivers just makes worse music when he's happy

The downside of trying to make an album that has something all of your fans will dig is that the rest of it doesn't really speak to that person, so you end up with a mediocre album with a few good songs. Unfortunately none of the highs of this album are high enough for me to raise it's score anywhere but dead 50. I enjoyed it more than I expected to, but those expectations weren't very high to begin with.
