JID - The Forever Story
93

The Forever is by far JID’s best album. It’s just good on all sides, good features, good lyricism, good hooks, good production. It really is just a great album. Not much left to say. It's just perfect

Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory
94

This is one of the most unique albums I’ve heard in a while. While the first part after Big Fish is a hit in interesting the rest of the album is straight gas and the Kendrick feature on Yeah Right? Perfect. Production was a huge highlight as well (RIP Sophie)

Vince Staples - Dark Times
87

Dark Times is tied with The Big Fish Theory for best Vince Staples album in my opinion. It doesn’t have flare, but it is still amazing. Vince Staples lyricism, rapping, production, and as displayed in the first track (Black & Blue), singing. And it doesn’t get old. A year after this albums release and my opinion hasn’t changed one bit.

AJR - What No One's Thinking
59

Meh. Defienetely better than their former albums but still not good. Can’t believe I used to be an AJR fan lol. I do recommend the tour cause that was crazy ngl. The last song was lowkey kinda fire

Pharrell Williams - Cash In Cash Out
88

beat is hard, always has been

d4vd - WITHERED
NR

WITHERED. just like a special something he left in the back of a tesla…

The Weeknd - Timeless
90

Carti’s last good verse and The Weeknd’s best

Tame Impala - Loser
83

I have never listened to Tame Impala before, but this is fire 🔥

PARTYOF2 - FRIENDLY FIRE
68

I just feel like this was bland, and the lyrics were a bit corny. I still think they have talent they’re just a bit inconsistent.

GoldLink - Diaspora
72

The first half of this album was perfect. If GoldLink made this album 7 songs long it would’ve been absolutely spectacular. Sadly he did not. While the first half of this album slaps the second half kind of drags on. Nevertheless this album still has some bangers and is definitely one of GoldLink’s better projects (let’s not talk about HARAM!).

Tyler, The Creator - Cherry Bomb
79

This is definitely Tyler’s most experimental album and marks a pivotal point in his career. While this album is seen by many as a flop it marks the point where Tyler started really trying to put his all into his albums. Cherry bomb is really just a hit or a miss. There’s some tracks on here that I hate like RUN or KEEP DA O’S, but then there’s songs that I absolutely love like DEATHCAMP, SMUCKERS, or BUFFALO (yes buffalo is a banger you rapscallions). And it’s also ... read more

Joey Bada$$ - Lonely At The Top
81

Ok I will admit during the first half of this album I was considering giving this a 70s rating. But halfway through the album Joey switches to a more melodic jazz rap style that is absolutely beautiful. This will definitely go down in the books as one of Joey’s best projects. Best songs were Underwater, Swank White, Supaflee, Speedin’ Through the Rain, and Dark Aura

Joey Bada$$ - STILL
80

Pretty deep, pretty fire. Definitely not at the level of Dark Aura but still better than ABK

Steve Lacy - Nice Shoes
79

This was pretty good, not a huge fan of the beat but the singing/rapping was great

PinkPantheress - Fancy That
80

PinkPantheress might be one of the most underrated producers of the 2020s. This albums shows her talent in electronic, melodic pop production. Top tracks were Illegal, Romeo, and Stateside

Kendrick Lamar - DAMN.
87

DAMN. is my personal favorite Kendrick Lamar album. It tells the story of Kendrick struggling to stray away from sin and towards the path of god. Amazing album.

Drake - NOKIA
88

Now look… Kendrick won the beef but Drake definitely is still able to make a banger every now and then. This is now and then.
