Felt like someone was opening up to me but i didnt know the person enough to truly understand or care about what they were saying. The instrumentation was more used as a background for the poetry to flow on, I'd have liked better if it was more prominent in the mix. first 5 tracks were golden, last 5 not so much. I enjoyed hearing the bjork, pj harvey and portishead influence, though it maybe wasnt an influence but more of an aspiration of Clark to compare to those godesses. The industrial and art pop elements gave the tracks a lot of color, in the first half, that is. Production and progression of the tracks was very good too. Her voice really shines through in these tracks.

love the funky stevie wonder influences here, pretty solid listen. Most things work out nice, i like jazz too much to not vibe hard with this.
Very intimate and sad. The first 6 songs are really beautiful, but past that, it just doesnt hit as hard. Some songs try to ramp up the energy a bit, which sometimes does work, while it also feels quite out of place. The slowcore aspects keep its pretty minimalistic, which works fantastic in the first half, the 2nd half just feels a bit dull.
Ive listemed to too much opeth, so i cant unhear the resemblance, but this is a bit more modern, more diverse in sound but also more of the inevitable nerdy noodling that you get with a lot of progressive stuff. Guitar solos are pretty fun, but not near top notch. The metalcore aspects were really great and well combined with death/even djent(??) grooves. Creative and wild.
