Definitely their best project ever. It's sort of cool to hate on the Migos now (for good reason, they really have released a couple bad projects in a row), but there was a time when they were the leaders of the Atlanta trap scene. This project honestly is a defining moment for the sub-genre.
CTRL+C, CTRL+V for Dolph. On previous albums Dolph's over-the-top lyrics and simplicity have worked, but this project seemed a little generic and with less effort put into it than usual.
I previously said Behold a Dark Horse was the smoothest album of the year, but this might have just beat it out. Gibbs and Curren$y sound so good together over these Alchemist beats. Corleone vibes.
Another good project from Roc in 2018, he's really got an impressive run going. Could've done without the "lucid dreaming while squeezing my beautiful penis" bar though.
Ka comes back with another cerebral project that doesn't disappoint. With Ka, the bars are a given, but combined with fantastic production, this project really feels like hood mythology.
Fun, nice album with a lot of good tracks. A little too long, but definitely a breath of fresh air (along with Denzel Curry’s recent album) in the trap scene.
The return of Chicago street legend Bump J finds Bump shaking off the cobwebs. Unfortunately not great mixing, but the potential is there.

Drake can rap, he has technical ability, but a lot of the rap songs were very low-energy and at times boring. A lot of corny lines that seem to only be there for captions. A lot of the songs were pretty basic and generic. A couple stand out songs but for the most part this side ran together and was nothing special.
