Basicially every problem I had on infinite is fixed here. Beats are amazing, Eminem found his own personality, and his lyrics mean a lot more.
Lets start with how he reinvented his persona. Eminem had no personality on infinite but here he is basicially a cartoon parody of a murderer and its great, he's so eccentric and his witty lyrics and delivery leave you always invested.
Eminems hooks are wayyyy better, theres not a hook on infinite close to anything on here.
His storytelling is great, ... read more
Az's infinite... Oh wait i meant Eminems infinite.
Often the untold part of Eminems history, before he found dre on this album he basicially bites nas/az's style. The production and sampling is not great, but Em's mic presence and writing is pretty solid. I do not like the features on this album. Thete are good moments on this album, the title track is great, the rest is pretty mediocre but written ok
Dawg I think im a dementia patient I can't remember anything about the album
he did his lil rnb thing over basic lil production
The one thing I remember, the best bar ive ever heard:
All i can think about is your booty, and
Y'all riding me like suzukis, and
Pretty good, hits good melodies and entranced me well, nothing special lyrically but not trash, chill prod
Okay the songs amazing(glazing)
BUT THAT MUSIC VIDEO GOT ME SO HYPED HOLYYYY
Rip X you meant so much to this generation and I do see some genuine talent in here.
Getting the bad stuff out of the way: Guitar focused rap usually sucks, and its more misses than hits when X is on those instrumentals, X is not much of a lyricist, and sometimes he sounds a little dead on the beat. X was clearly still maturing here and it shows in him not fully being able to express his emotions in a nuanced way and just essentially whining on the beat(really bad on numb/going down) This ... read more
First impressions of a guy whos never Drained before today off listen 1: Super fun for the most part downsides first, I dont think bladee has a good voice and he sounded a lil sleepy in a few separate tracks. Pretty bloated.
Okay positives, production great and fun, whenever leans was on a track with him it went soooooooooo crazy, great chemistry. I liked the way his voice was distorted in some spots.
Super enjoyable, though it did not need to be an hour.
2nd listen: As this is my first drain ... read more
Yknow I don't think Matt did anything wrong yet I still feel like id rather fold laundry then listen to a lot of this, maybe jts just not my type of sound but besides a few standouts like slow motion, steel, slug, and purify I wasnt too interested, his voice isn't interesting and not as dynamic as others, the production while good isnt the craziest things ive heard. Idk I guess it just doesn't succeed in relaxing or entrancing me
Super unique instrumentals, cool vocals, just super pretty and chill indie, I ain't got much to say on this
I like the changes to production but Kanyes not a great rapper rn but its an ok verse(better than most of his verses on vultures)
I figured as an album of the year'er now I gotta do my job and go through radioheads discog in depth.
Pablo honey is the groups debut album and while it shows promise and has good songs its definately missing a touch of creativity.
I think his singing while fine isnt consistently where I want it be for this music and it bothered me in a few spots.
The production and instruments arent bad by any means but theyre not adventurous and theres much better music that sounds pretty similar to a lot of ... read more
I waited to listen to this one until I was sure I was invested in this sound to not ruin my first impression, worked p well ig?
While this album is bloated and long winded its still lots of fun, and the production is varied, dynamic, and fun. Yeat has some great hooks and catching the rager vibes I wanted, and for the most carried this project on his back with only 2 features. An underwhelming future preformance I could care less for, and a solid wayne verse but it was kinda recycled from the ... read more
some good lines but I dont really feel it comes together and makes a cohesive statement if you feel me
Nose job lines funny
I felt bad about how I have only negatively reviewed tailor on this account so I decided I should prolly write up one I actually like quite a bit!
Folklores palet is so close to itself and homey. I think she doesnt try to go past her range much at all in singing so its more enjoyable. I just see this project and feel a lil blanket over me, while her lyricism isnt earth shattering its comforting. Just a super enjoyable folk album.
It doesnt pander like I thought parts of 1989 and lover did ... read more

This my 4th album from her and its by far the worst. Lets just get it off, Taylors writing is unbearable here so corny and melodramatic
"Thinking how much sad did you think I had, did you think I had in me?" and theres far worse. There are moments whrere she forces big words to make her seem like a better lyricist and it just does not work thre way she delivers it. Taylor is a flat vocalistic so ... read more
