The more Tim Darcy sings, the worse they sound. Vocals and rhythms are far less punchy than their predecessor. A little bit disappointing, to be honest
This album is a weird mix of Delta Spirit and AWOLNATION and I think I liked it but I'm not sure.
Another solid album full of catchy hooks and jangly pianos. Kyle's unique voice makes this a fun album. Falls short of the potential shown in his debut, however.
I always set high hopes. They almost always let me down and fail to live up to their potential
I waited very long to review this one. I wanted to make sure I had a strong opinion formed before I wrote about it as I'm a big fan of singer/songwriters and I loved her first album. not as bad as I thought given the singles, but still pretty bad. She follows her best up with her worst. She replaced the self awareness of 1989 with self aggrandizing terrible lyrics. The last song is pretty though.
Pretty darn good. Margo and Sturgill making country music great again
pretty disappointing following her last album. The heavier instrumentation just doesn't quite match her voice
Beautiful and haunting, at moments reminiscent of Magical clouds, at other moments reminiscent of some beautiful sparse folk albums of recent memory, all behind an incredible voice
can't help but feel a little disappointed after the incredible lead single. The rest doesn't quite live up
Cacophonous, exciting, unpredictable with fascinating vocals. The most unique folk album in years
