Revising this one up in honor of the new album which I like a lot less than this masterpiece
I think what made TPAB so compelling was this crazy combination of non-hip hop musical influences. What made GKMC so compelling was the storyline that ran through it. pretty solid effort from a band I kind of forgot about. Fun, punchy, best since "Do You Like Rock Music"
Yeah this album is really fun. Tails off a tiny bit towards the end, but really fun electropop
I don't think Spoon has ever really made a bad record. The trend continues here

A charming return to form after what I thought was a disappointing previous record. Tennis finds a good balance here between the 70s/80s vibe and modern indie pop
Probably her boldest and most unique album to date. Create guitar playing and beautiful backing instruments. Soothing might be her best song ever
Even if you agree with some of the politics on this album, his way of writing about it is cringeworthy
Slowly making my way through her discography after the new album. Really enjoyed the arrangements in the first half of this record, but the second half fizzled out a bit
This album feels like the weakest of the antlers last few albums. A little too sparse to capture the passion that made some of their albums so compelling
Hard to listen to this album and her voice and not immediately think of Hop Along. For me that's a good thing. Really really promising indie rock debut
