I've never really "gotten" lana del rey, but I actually liked this one more than I expected
This was an album I did not expect to like nearly as much as I did. First half is flawless before it seems a little generic in the middle. Ends strong though. Heat may be song of the year. Someone's gotta review this one
I thought for a long time before scoring this because the Fleet Foxes' first two albums are among my all time favorites. This one, which takes the music a different direction, is far and away their most inconsistent to date. While some of the more adventurous songs like Third of May and I am all that I need are miraculous, others like Fool's errand just sound watered down... It's still a great album though.
Was pretty lukewarm on first listen but have kept coming back to it. Really digging it
Pretty disappointed in this one. Girlpool's debut was so quirky. This feels so generic.
Mac slows it down and loses some of his trademark quirkiness but shows a more mature songwriting potential. Moonlight on the river is one of his best tracks to date
