wow... this is a fantastic experience re-listening this peak months later
those violins and backing vocals, especially in the song 'in the modern world' are just brilliant music creation, layering and instruments in each song is amazing too

"@tistan this isn't really criticism, it’s more of an emotional rant. you keep saying "everything sounds the same" "0 ambition" "no evolution" but you never actually explain what you mean by that. which albums are copying each other? what specific trends or production choices are becoming repetitive? what would "evolution" even look like to you? also reducing an entire scene to "slopfest" just bc most releases didn’t personally connect with you says more about your current burnout with the genre than it does about the actual state of the music."
