This album ends on a very weak note, with the last few songs (except "Afterthought") being easily the worst here. Outside of that, a pretty solid, easy listening and well produced album.

Clearly i need to pay more attention on Hearts2Hearts. This is a surprisingly (mostly) cohesive project that clearly has a lot going behind it. H2H seem to be getting marketed as the next big group in K-Pop and it's not something i am going to complain about after hearing this.

Would've been an absolute clusterfuck trainwreck if the album didn't wisely completely shift sounds in the second half. Idk why this wasn't just two seperate minis, as a whole project this doesn't work when A. The songs outside of a couple are shit and B. It is sonically all over the place.

The standard version did grow on me quite a lot and I see the vision there but the deluxe tracks don't really add anything.

The switch ups during the song aren't my thing whatsoever and I understand that it's NMIXX's biggest appeal. They're just not for me, when beat or tempo changes happen, unless it transitions or builds up it'll throw me off and neither are present on these songs. With that being said, I liked a few songs here and it's definitely the most I have liked NMIX, but i will always struggle to get into them and that is okay.

He's been making the exact same ballad for a decade so naturally this album is boring with an incredibly offensive I Wanna Dance With Somebody cover. It is similar to Dancing On My Own in which he changes the meaning of the song and uses someone else's classic because of his inability to generate hits, but at least then he wasn't profiting off of a dead person's work!

If the tracklist was shortened a bit this would've been undeniable greatness. The lyricism was honestly my favourite part of this album: at this point of her career, Hayley can sell the subject matters and stakes/emotions that accompany very well.
