Earl Sweatshirt - Doris
89

This album can definitely be seen as the turning point in Earl's career were his mental health slowly started to waist away and it produced some great music, this album is just great it has one of the best 3 track runs of the decade with Sunday to Chum and it just stays strong Lyrically all the way through it has great features and verses and the album has several of Earl's more comedic straight bars songs such as "Woah" but it also has the nice depressing songs such as ... read more

Earl Sweatshirt - EARL
83

This Mixtape is pretty much an improved version of "Kitchen Cutlery" in all aspects that's pretty much all there is to say about it. Overall it is very good and it had very high Highs and low lows

Favorite Tracks: Fuck This Christmas, Blade, Couch

Least Favorite: Swag Me Up

Earl Sweatshirt - Kitchen Cutlery
77

Earl's first mixtape which he actually dropped back before he was Earl Sweatshirt and when he went by Sly Tendencies is actually incredibly impressive for when he was 14 when listening to this project you could see how heavily influenced it was by MF DOOM, Earl even used the "All Caps" beat. Now obviously the production isnt that good but Earl's rhyme scheme is great and was better back than than most artists today. All in all it's pretty decent and Earl definitely started off well. ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR
100

On "IGOR" Tyler finds his magnum opus in what I believe to be a modern day classic this album is so great as a collective in the same way "Some Rap Songs" by Earl Sweatshirt is. This album is basically about a love triangle of Tyler, his boyfriend, and his boyfriends girlfriend and Tyler executes it perfectly in all ways from production to features to emotion. To sum it up I couldn't decide if this was a 10 or a strong 9 but I chose a 9 in the end because honestly I just ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy
96

Ahhhh I love this album it is just incredible Tyler's production is just so good to me and I dont think theres anything other to say than that this is probably a top 10 hip hop album of the decade

Favorite Tracks: Where This Flower Blooms, November, See You Again

Least Favorite: I Ain't Got Time

Tyler, The Creator - Cherry Bomb
86

This shit is weird lol not much else but I love how it goes from intense songs like "Cherry Bomb" to nice calm songs like "Find Your Wings". This album is easily Tyler's most experimental and without it we probably wouldnt have Flowerboy and IGOR. I know 90% of people hate this album and I did to at first I probably would of given this like a 37 or something just a few months ago but it has grown on me so much so it's a strong 8

Favorite Tracks: SMUCKERS, FUCKING YOUNG, ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - Wolf
90

"Wolf" is the end of Tyler's first 3 album trilogy and it is a great ending he pretty much perfected the sound of the last 2 albums and every track is great (besides trashwang that shit was terrible) he even has several tracks that are emotional such as "Lone" which is one of Tyler's most underrated songs and also Awnser, he also still has the same edgy humor which I miss from him lowkey. This album has definitely grown on me since I first heard it and I think it is great ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - Goblin
81

Tyler, the Creators follow up to his debut is pretty much more of the same as "Bastard". Some strong points for "Goblin" would be it's cool concept of the songs being told through therapy sessions and also how he occasionally tells some stories that arnt fucked up such as "Her" or maybe that's the only one lol. So now we have the cons which would probably be just that it gets kind of repetitive and it feels the same throughout the whole album. But overall I do feel ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - Bastard
80

Tyler, the Creator's debut project is pretty good and was the start of a journey to becoming one of the most beloved artists on earth. "Bastard" is a very edgy album to say the least with some a little more fucked up than others lol. But theres not much more to say overall it's a pretty decent start to a great carrer.

Favorite Tracks: Bastard, Assmilk, Inglorious

Least Favorite: French

Travis Scott - Rodeo
91

Probably the best Trap album ever. The Production is like an out of body experience lol, autotune seriously fits travis Scott's style better than mostly any artist I dont know what else to say except that this album is great and will be looked at in 10 years as possibly one of the best albums of the decade

Favorite Tracks: 90210, Maria I'm Drunk

Least Favorite: Piss On Your Grave

Madvillain - Madvillainy
99

Another Classic, "Madvillainy" by rapper and producer duo MF DOOM and Madlib has incredible and creative beats such as "Accordion" and "All Caps". And on this project MF DOOM has some of the best rhyming ever. Even though this album is 22 tracks long It still left me wanting even more. This project has pretty much certified both of them as legends and it is atleast a strong 9

Favorite Tracks: All Caps, Fancy Clown, Curls

Least Favorite: idk probably The Illest ... read more

Nas - Illmatic
99

My first review has to be of a classic and the classic I have chosen is "Illmatic" by the legendary Nas this album is just a masterpiece and is probably in my top 5 Rap albums of all time. But all in all it is a Strong 9 and it's a CLASSIC (although I do think the first half is definitely better than the 2nd half)

Favorite Tracks: N.Y. State of Mind, Life's a Bitch, The World is Yours

Worst: One Time 4 Your Mind (still a great song tho)
