This is soooo good but for some reason aside from the title track the really high rated songs are my least favorites whereas like Fotzepolitic and Iceblink Luck have me ascending every time I listen to them

This was a really nice listen! It was cool to see a take on symphonic prog that's not Genesis and this definitely leaned more on the symphonic side than the prog side for a lot of it, which I certainly didn't mind. Production is usually what hooks me and brings me into a rap album first before I can start to appreciate things like flow and lyricism, so this album is like the perfect match and I really enjoyed it. A couple of songs didn't quite click but others like High and Robes and Shame had me on another planet

Had a cool sound and a couple of songs I'd maybe come back to. I kinda just wish the vibe of the album were more fleshed out but I guess when the whole thing is practically a satire that might be too much to ask

This is in fact my favorite radiohead album sorry everyone. Idk their other albums just all have low points and this one just doesn't. It keeps up the energy so consistently that it's so easy for me to come back to again and again

The fact that almost every song on this album is someone's favorite should tell you something. It's not perfect and there are parts I struggle to stay connected, but the variety you get as a result makes up for it. As much of a struggle as Rev 9 certainly is, the transition into Good Night afterward is the only time a piece of music has actually made me cry before. Giving that song to Ringo was the best choice John could have ever made

While this is probably Floyd's best album technically it doesn't really take me off the ground in the same way as my favorite albums of theirs; still a great listen but I've found it less compelling over time. And after like 50+ attempts I still CANNOT get welcome to the machine to click. I also think Have a Cigar is a worse version of Money though that may be a controversial take

Rounding out the Floyd discog dive. Nothing mind blowing but a nice listen and Louder Than Words is amazing.

DAMN this guy can arrange a song. Layers upon layers of percussion and the most beautiful guitar work you'll ever see make this album one of the most compelling psych rock experiences you'll ever have. Not going to be something that leaves my consciousness any time soon.

Crazy that I used to not like this album

Some cool noodling around and much more, didn't touch my soul or anything but great music and a nice way to spend 40 ish minutes

I always can't help but wonder if it's my fault I'm not "clicking" with albums like these or if I need to listen to them more to really get it

Had me totally hooked for the first two songs then completely lost me aside from a few brief moments. Love the concept just couldn't connect with it sadly

Okay I really liked this first listen but it warrants a more proper review than I gave it originally. This is just a really good album. Proof that you don't necessarily have to do anything revolutionary to create something timeless... this is just really good rock music.

Metal is so hard for me to get into as a genre but this album is an exception

I very deeply love this album. I want to praise Wearing the Inside Out in particular because it doesn't get enough love and it's such an incredibly beautiful Wright piece

I have so much trouble connecting with most of the top 100 but this hit. Great music, strangely optimistic in spite of the edginess. I love the longer tracks especially but lovesong is my favorite; wish it were longer
