Shinedown's first conept album (turned movie album) is a great ride from start to finish. With gripping entry track in 'DEVIL' and an empowering finish in 'BRILLIANT'
Despite having a couple unlovable parts, 'ATTENTION ATTENTION' proves to be one of Shinedown's best albums to date.
Daughtry's best album since their debut.
Best Songs: Desperation, Heavy Is The Crown ☆, Changes Are Coming, Cry For Help, Asylum
Donald Carpenter's voice ranges from aggressive harsh vocals to pretty falcetto highs. Not to mention the great guitar work backing him. Some may see it as generic hard rock but this double-sided LP is a great record.
With a mix of badass riffs and atmospheric lyrics, Chevelle produces one of their best albums in their discography.
POSTIVIES: Take Out the Gunman, Jawbreaker, Hunter Eats Hunter, One Ocean, The Damned, Under the Knife, Twinge
NEUTRAL: Oujia Board, An Island, Choking Game
(No negatives)
Shinedown takes a political stance with 'Planet Zero' yet fails to communicate points in a well-educated manner. Shinedown is my favorite band and it sucks to see them take this route. Not to mention that the clash of "everything is fucked" to "hey! you'll be okay!!" is stupid. Some great tracks on here for sure, but also a lot of bad ones. To be completely honest, tho. I do still enjoy the record overall. Just wish they would stop being stupidly political.

Wolfgang marches into WVH's debut album with some pretty good tracks. Much of the album falls into a similar noise and none of it is mind-blowing by any means. The lyrical production isn't great, but overall, most of the songs are enjoyable.
This won't land well, but this album really grew on me. I disliked it on first listen and there are definitely some just bad tracks, but 'Explosions' works well on it's own. However, looking at the TDG track record, they are making no changes in their sound. The main issue with this album is that Matt sounds emotionless throughout the entire thing. The instrumentals don't do a whole lot in terms of anything new or exciting, but the album really isn't bad.
I appreciate what they were going for, ... read more
Disturbed attempt a more modern take on their old work. There's still some great moments but overall the album sort of falls on it's face. Despite not hating their Simon and Garfunkel cover, I can't disagree with the people who despise it.
POSITIVES: The Vengeful One, What Are You Waiting For
NEGATIVES: Fire it Up, Never Wrong
More of the same from the Kennedy-Tremonti fronted group, but the 'same' is still kickass metal with incredible vocals and riffs. Production shines here as well
FAVORITES: Silver Tongue, Dead Among the Living, Holiday, Fable of the Silent Son
LEAST FAVORITE: Season of Promise
