BAND OF THE WEEK: Album Thoughts #3
It was fun listening to Destroyer this way, getting used to his vocal and lyrical style a little bit before diving headfirst into his masterpieces. And I say masterpieces now because, if this record isnt considered one, I can only imagine what comes after. Honestly, nothing I've heard so far could prepare me for this brilliant record. Stunning improvement over city of daughters. Mostly a similar feel, but less disposable tracks (really none), and this time more tracks than not start to feel like top tier destroyer tracks. Adore this album front to back, a record I never regret spinning.
