It was fun listening to Destroyer this way, getting used to his vocal and lyrical style a little bit before diving headfirst into his masterpieces. Stunning improvement over city of daughters. Mostly a similar feel, but less disposable tracks (really none), and this time more tracks than not start to feel like top tier destroyer tracks. Adore this album front to back, a record I never regret spinning.
