This is more of a taut blood rush than anything on BCD. Indeed, BCD-2 is Basic Channel, harder, faster, and stronger—and no better, to be sure, but different.
While Bcd-1 was the darker-ambient son, Bcd-2 is Basic Channel's more dub-techno creation, and it's a bop.
This is actually an unexpected switch from the more quiet production of the first project, Bcd-2 is the compilation that comprehends the last EPs from the Cyrus project.
The switch mostly consists in a more abrasive sound and increased bpms in almost every tracks. The effect is a total change of focus from the first compilation, Bcd-2 presents itself with a more danceable ... read more
BCD-2 is pretty much a test of patience with Minimal Techno that is pretty much rarely has any progression, but there is something great about it and how even with 10 minutes or longer tracks go pretty smooth and don't feel like it's too much.

Grips you tightly with its dense, relentless and thick ass beats, and doesn’t let you go until you’re hooked into its 80 minute mania. Techno at its finest.

La de hueva: El resto del álbum, ... read more
