Q 1.1 is a great album. It's just that it feels like a worse version of Phylyps Trak in pretty much every category. It's less hypnotizing, the sounds don't come together as well and it's all-around a less rewarding listening experience. I’ve found myself revisiting Phylyps Trak a lot recently so I decided to seek out another Basic Channel album. I noticed Phylyps Trak was their first release, so I decided to listen to this since it comes next chronologically.
