The Young Folks

It’s E-40’s unusual lackluster writing that seals the deal for mediocrity. Ultimately, the entire project centers around redundancy-which is abnormal, especially for an album with so many flavorful sounds.

An alright record from 40, he's doing the same style as he always does. When he does experiment a little, it's nothing too good but it does help things sound a little better. The educational Bet You Didn't Know was interesting, and 40 has a lot more mellow tracks here than the average record from him. Nothing crazy, but alright

This is so fucking bad bro. Trying to do pre calculus rn and this made it worse. Not ONE single good song bro 😭.
I fell for the feature list bait, but I must've not noticed Chris Brown, Peezy, Rod Wave, G Eazy, and many more who were terrible. Jeremih, Wiz Khalifa, Problem, Fabolous, Stresmatic, Boosie especially were unlistenable.
