This album feels pretty uneven. The group still brings their usual confident delivery, but the production leans heavily into late-80s and early-90s trends that don’t always work well.
Some tracks have solid energy, but a lot of the songs feel forgettable and don’t really stand out. The album tries to update their sound, but the results are inconsistent.

A few bad interludes and transitions to songs don't take away my experience of this album. It's a really fun and bouncy time and even if it has aged strange since the early 90s, it's cool to hear the new jack swing style and the rapping getting better.
If you want to listen to generic sounding outdated even by 1990 standards hip-hop, this is your go to album.
