They might be unoriginal, but they compensate with rock & roll rambunctiousness and a clutch of great choruses.

Extreme Behavior can't even make it as rote hard rock -- it's too insulting to women and your intelligence. That's why it's dude rock instead. Hinder are so egregiously dull they appeal not to fans of music, but fans of high fives.

A one-trick pony of an album performed by a 3rd rate 1980's hair band rip-off. Simple, dull & repetitive.

Regretting The Past Albums
Album Number 10.

Honestly had a hard time trying to put together what makes this album THIS awful, lyrically its bland and boring, sonically most songs are identical...it's not very "extreme", it is extremely cheesy though, those things would usually just make for a boring album but this album isn't just boring, its just trash front to back.

Ah...I'm trying to remember a track from this that I could talk about as an example of anything but nothing comes ... read more

A record that scrapes out of the 20's due to its one triumph, the rather great Better Than Me. The rest of this record sounds like warmed over hair metal, rarely hitting and overly horny. Crazy that Kurt Cobain died and AIC and Soundgarden broke up to birth the genre of post-grunge and this is what we got. Occasionally the vocals won't hurt your ears, and occasionally there's a good hook, but it's not worth a listen at all. Listen to the acoustic version of Get Stoned if you ... read more

The lead singer is trying so hard to be a frat boy douche when deep down inside he is a whiny emo

I was expecting worse tbh

Keep it up, baby!

Hinder are a weird band that have stayed somewhat relevant for 21 years now because of the singles from this album, so I decided to finally listen.
My first impressions of this record are guys that--at least sound like they--are in their 30's who heard third wave emo and thought "We should make rock about our wives who took the kids". This record is at its best, formulaic and boring 00's rock, and at worst sounds like it should have stayed in a journal or therapy session. ... read more

This album isn’t as bad as everyone says. That being said, that doesn’t exactly make it a good album either. It’s as if they wanted to replicate a Nickelback album, but instead of using good songs like Some Day or How You Remind Me, they based it off of Shakin’ Hands or Something In Your Mouth (which yes, I know is impossible as those songs didn’t exist when this album came out). One redeeming factor about this album however, is that it somewhat makes the lyrics of ... read more

Bon Jovi for nincompoops. I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a spoon than listen to Hinder.
