Louder Than War
Slift return with another blast of their psychedelic fuzz-drenched space-rock and build on their previous releases to produce, once again, a dizzying journey beyond the stars.

Classic Rock
Generally, it’s all psych rockets blasting as the Toulouse trio soar to space-prog’s summit.

psych-space-rock power trio delivers a big sound. good balance to the songs and lots of inventive guitar runs. get ready to rock because they are. also, now I have something to go next to Slint in my record collection.

like a more spacey king gizzard, slift delivers quite the performance on their heavy psychedelic 72 minute epic jamfest "Ummon". they really just never stop going with this album and when they slow down it's to sink you into their heavily psychedelic krautrock rhythms or drawn out guitar reverberations. my only problem is it can start to same a bit after awhile, but they have the sound all there and it's really nice so i don't care :3

Long, but pretty great. Most of the album is dreamy and psychedelic, with a very nocturnal feeling, but then heavy stoner sections kick in and it's just a great time. No need for it to be so long tho.

It's frustrating when talented young bands don't recognize their limitations and stretch an album far beyond what the material can support. This is one of those cases: there are plenty of enjoyable moments here, but by the end, they've blurred together so much that few leave a lasting impression—or inspire a return visit.

Really cool, just can’t take some of the longer songs I don’t like, it’s just the same part I don’t like looped for 8 minutes. Still some songs I liked/saved. Favorite Song: Citadel on a Satellite.
