It doesn’t all make sense, but you sense that’s the point.
They remain committed to their sometimes sleazy, acerbic musical identity but flirt with new angles both lyrically and sonically; a reclined and assured follow-up that oozes their lovable dark traits and shows no threat of getting caught up in the pack.
This is far from your dime-a-dozen post-punk EP, sharing far more in spirit with the eclectic origins of the genre than their often resolutely riff-centric peer group.
Do Nothing have made great leaps and bounds with the Glueland EP: they’ve taken their sound and really pushed it to something unique.
Yet another up-and-coming British post-punk band that’s impressing me right off the bat! They just don't stop!

I have no idea who this band is but I love them now. Sometimes post-punk can sound quite lifeless to me, but it's hard not to love it when it's this high-energy and fun.
While most people seem to be overwhelmed by the amount of post punk releases we have been getting over the past few months, for the most part I've been a huge fan of a lot of what I've heard from the genre. A bit weak compared to their 2020 ep. A more post-punk revival sound with a bit of a compressed production sound and weaker experimentation creates a bit of a mess and just not a lot of fun or creativity.
I love their sound - personally I found their first release to be a little more unique and enjoyable, but this release shows continued promise and leaves me looking forward to a full album release
