R.E.M. may be dangerously close to becoming a conventional rock & roll band, but Green proves it's a damn good one.
Don't know how much of a hot take this is but to me this is my favourite album of theirs. I may be biased as my Dad owns an original pressing of this record on vinyl and I have fond memories of this playing around the house whilst I was growing up.

Green is so boring. But I can still say I enjoyed it because this album has Pop Song 89, Get Up and Orange Crush on it. Three pretty great songs in my opinion. Best R E.M. album I've heard so far, real good energy throughout. Only issue is the production, but it didn't bother me much.
