R.E.M. may be dangerously close to becoming a conventional rock & roll band, but Green proves it's a damn good one.
Didn't impress me as much as Document but still quite solid. An interesting way to end their legendary 80s run of albums, for certain.
Also why is it called Green when the album cover is orange? -1 point for that

Decent album that seems to have flown under the radar. I agree with other reviews that this album is just solid REM with a few major highlights. Very top-heavy album, much of the songs in the last stretch wind up being quite uninteresting for me.
