The massive lite-EDM duo the Chainsmokers portray themselves as hilariously repugnant caricatures, and on Collage, they paint a photorealist portrait of their manspread over the charts.
Sounds fine to be honest! This brings back so many memories of when I was actually a fan of The Chainsmokers. Fortunately that phase has ended.
The Chainsmokers' second EP is so much worse than their first, and their first EP isn't good.
I liked "Don't Let Me Down" before it got big. Then it was super overplayed. Then "Closer" came out and I was like "you know, that other song wasn't half bad." This EP wasn't the worst, but they clearly didn't choose to release more music like this.
1. Setting Fires - 5
2. All We Know - 6
3. Closer - 7
4. Inside Out - 8
5. Don’t Let Me Down - 8
Best track: "Don't Let Me Down"
This EP was just rather disappointing. Although there's Setting Fires, an absolute bop and very underrated track. I liked the beat drops in it and it as quite catchy. Don't Let Me Down is also a shoutout, the production was pretty good. The other two tracks are just lame. Lastly, we have Closer and MY GOD THAT WAS SO ANNOYING. I already talked about it before in its own review.
Setting Fires: 100/100
All We Know: 47/100
Closer: 0/100
Inside Out: 45/100
Don't Let Me Down: 77/100
