Collage, the second EP from electronic duo the Chainsmokers, compiles the pair's five 2016 singles, including their smash hits "Closer" featuring Halsey and "Don't Let Me Down" with Daya.

The massive lite-EDM duo the Chainsmokers portray themselves as hilariously repugnant caricatures, and on Collage, they paint a photorealist portrait of their manspread over the charts.

Although, yes, these songs scrape the bare standards of listenability, in the sense that you can listen to them and agree they are songs- they are absolutely and resolutely not good songs. Like, copying melodies from The Fray levels of not good. In a word: irredeemable.

Sounds fine to be honest! This brings back so many memories of when I was actually a fan of The Chainsmokers. Fortunately that phase has ended.

Of the projects I've heard from The Chainsmokers, this is the most enjoyable experience. That's mostly because brevity doesn't leave much room for awful songs and doesn't let it drag long enough to be boring. Isso com certeza é um EP. Existem músicas nele, todas começam e terminam. Setting Fires é muiito repetitivo, além de ter um drop negativo. All We Know parece música de alarme, e parece ser feita pra aquele casal chato e meloso do 9º ano cantar. Closer, para além de estar uma mixagem péssima no apple music, ... read more
