This album actually slaps harder than my father ever did when I misbehaved as a child.
Catchy has a tune and this one isn't even remotely close to anything else anybody is doing at any point of time. LCD Soundsystem before they even existed but with the Pop more attuned. I mean calling this basic has got to be signs of early brain damage. New Order were just on a hot streak in the 80s, they could really do no wrong
This is considered their last great album and man, what an album to end your streak on
The main highlights are Round & Round, Vaniahing Point and obviously Dream Attack but everything still works really well on this album, there isn't a single track that I wouldn't call great to some degree
Another great album from them!!
Super fun dance album with basically all bangers but it lacks some of that gloom you might expect from the band
The house influences are awesome!! This has pretty much always been my favorite New Order album, it’s such a consistently amazing group of songs. Guilty Partner is my least favorite, but even it still has a great New Order climactic ending despite being a bit slow.
It’s a shame this is the end of New Order’s hot streak. At least it ended with a banger, and it’s not like there are no good New Order songs after this either. It’s also crazy that an album like this ... read more

Looking back into it, I think it's less dated, but the rock tracks are pretty much some of their weakest tracks in the 80s.
