A by the books emo album for the late 90s. But i cant take away many points because this group is very tight and captivating

Very consistent midwest emo/post-hardcore, very typical for the style, and I like it very much. The fun guitar parts, the melodies, the great drumming, it all just makes for a great record, in my opinion. My highlights are literally half the record, and the other half is only slightly behind them. The songs I like most as of right now are First Day Back, A Dozen Roses, and Urbana's Too Dark. Braid's Frame and Canvas is consistently pretty good. it serves as one of the clear indicators of 3rd wave emo. i mean, clearly when you hear it, it is anything but 3rd wave emo, but you can certainly hear the influences. really all i think i could say, other than that it's a great post-hardcore project, so cool!
