AKRIILA - epistolares
87

"I think little of you, but you always end up in my dreams"

Epistolares feels like reading someone's letters that were never meant to be public. It's raw, emotional, and full of thoughts that don't always get said out loud. AKRILLA dosen't hide behind trends or overproduction, she leans into vulnerability and that is what it gets for this album to hit so hard.

What I love about this album is how it tackles personal themes without feeling preachy or forced. The ... read more

FKA twigs - EUSEXUA
86

Eusexua feels like stepping into a room where every emotion is amplified, the soft ones get softer while the sharp ones hit harder. It's one of those project, yk that dosen't just sound good, it feels designed for you, even if it's just for a moment. (i'm getting poetic ik)

What I love about this album is how strangely intimate it is. The production flips between glosst and glitchy, warm and disorienting, but it always keeps this strange magnetic pull.

The songwriting is ... read more

Chappell Roan - The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess
84

The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess is one of those albums that feels like it's glowing from the inside. Chappel Roan mixes camp, confidence, heartbreak, and pure pop energy into something that's not just catchy, it's emotional and relatable in that big messy honest way.

What I love most is how theatrical she is without even losing sincerity. She jumps from bold, dramatic anthems to vulnerable, soft moments and somehow it all fits perfectly. Her writing is funny, dramatic, ... read more

Armand Hammer - We Buy Diabetic Test Strips
87

We Buy Diabetic Strips is the kind of album that pulls you in slowly but never lets go. It's heavy, abstract and full of crooked angles. The kind of rap record where every line feels like it's hiding three more meanings underneath (there could even be more). Armand hammer's writing is insane, it's sharp and layered almost like you're reading a book written in code.

What makes me love this album so much is how it feels like it's own universe. The production is ... read more

Deftones - White Pony
92

I already knew White Pony and Deftones before seeing them live, but seeing Deftones in Corona Capital changed everything. I went with a friend, and the second they stepped onstage we just lost it, jumping, screaming, even I cried a little bit, letting the whole show take over. It was one of those concerts where the energy hots you so hard that you forget everything else for a while. Even if I never considered myself a metal fan, that night flipped something in me.

White Pony is exactly why. ... read more

Ralphie Choo - SUPERNOVA
91

SUPERNOVA is one of those albums that feels like it came out of nowhere and suddenly changed the way you listen to music. Ralphie Choo blends genres like he's painting with light, flamenco, electronic, pop, experimental, all swirling together into something that feels futurisand emotional at the same time. It's wild, delicate, chaotic and beautiful.

What blows my mind is how underrated he still is. An artist making something this bold and original should be everywhere, but instead he ... read more

ミラクルミュージカル [Miracle Musical] - Hawaii: Part II
81

Conmemorating the album that realeased the 12 of december in 2012 at 12:12, this is my 12th review.

Hawaii Part I I was the first album I ever heard in full, the first time music felt like a world instead of just background noise. Introduction to the Snow, was the introduction to what music could be. This recors opened the door. Everything I love now, everything i've explored, everything I feel about music... it all leads back here.

The album has this strange, dramatic, dreamy aesthetic ... read more

Alex G - TRICK
86

Trick is the kind of album that makes you write in lowercase. At first it sound simple, lo fi guitars, bedroom recorded vocals, little fragments of stories, but the more you listen the more it opens up. Alex G has this weird magic where every song feels like a moment you lived, even if you didn't.

What I love about Trick is how personal it feels without trying to be dramatic. The songwriting is messy, honest and full of small details that hit harder than most big emotional lines. ... read more

Saba & No I.D. - From the Private Collection of Saba and No I.D.
88

From the Private Collection of Saba and No ID feels like opening someone's journal and finding every page written with honesty instead of ink. The lyrics are so incredibly real, not exaggerated, not forced just personal truths said with clarity and heart. Saba has always been a sharp storyteller, but here ir feels like he's letting you sit right beside him while he unpacks his life, his memories and the weight he carries.

The production from No ID matches that energy perfectly. ... read more

Magdalena Bay - Imaginal Disk
90

I first connected with Imaginal Disk during AXE Ceremonia before the incident happened, where the evening was still electric and full of poibilities. I didn't met neither Mica or Matthew in person, but I met Magdalena Bay that night in the only way it matters, through their sound.

Their performance was unreal, like they were pulling you into a dream like trance.

After the festival, I had a long trip ahead of me. Hours and hours ahead of travel, then a strech of quiet nights in Uruguay. ... read more

Steve Lacy - Gemini Rights
85

Gemini Rights hits that perfect spot where smooth production meets raw emotion. Steve Lack takes all the charm of his earlier works and sharpens them, making the writing better, melodies hitting harder and the whole album glowing of personality.

What I think that stands out more from the album is its lyricality. Steve dosen't just write about heartbreak, he writes about the confusion, the ego, the longing and all the messy inbetween feelings of love. His lines feel casual but cut deep, ... read more

Fishmans - LONG SEASON
95

I found LONG SEASON weirdly on a pinterest post. At first, I wasn't sure what it was but since it had a really cool cover i decided to give it a listen. I hadn't heard that much music back then, but i didn't know a single track album was possible. I began listening to LONG SEASON with my hopes very low because it was a single track, 35 minute song.

When it ended I was litterally in the floor, i had heard one of the most incredible songs ever. It felt as if I was stepping into a ... read more

JPEGMAFIA - All My Heroes Are Cornballs
92

On the surface All My Heroes Are Cornballs, it's messy, with glitchy beats, sudden changes, whispers and screams all collided. But underneath that chaos is Peggy holding up a mirror to the world, where the reflection is not always pretty.

What I love about this album is how real it feels. Peggy isn’t just making music to sound cool or push boundaries (though he does both). He's unpacking what it means to live in a world full of contradictions, where your heroes dissapoint you ... read more

Björk - Vespertine
93

I got to experience this album becuase someone introduced it to me. That someone said "Vespertine is like the sound of love learning how to breathe." It is fragile but infinite, quiet but powerful. Björk doesn’t sing like she’s performing for the world; she sings like she’s confessing to it.

What really amazes me of this album is the production, this minimalistic production really encaptures the feeling of Vespertine being alive. With every sound, the soft ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - IGOR
94

IGOR is the album that got me started in music. Before hearing it i remember to like some really weird and diverse music like i didn´t like anything in specific. But this was actually my second album i actually stopped and listen.

Really listen...

Every melody, every transition, every feeling. IGOR hit me with everything i thought it wasn't possible.
IGOR is messy and beautiful, full of distortion, synths, and heartbreak. It tells a story of falling deeply in love, losing that ... read more

Frank Ocean - Blonde
94

When my friend first showed me blonde, i didn't know how it would change my perspective on music. From the very first song, I felt something shift. This dreamy production and the raw emotion Frank sings in every song, it just hits. Songs like Ivy and Self Control made me think about growing up, love, and losing people. While Nights (one of my favorite songs oat) felt like two worlds at once and it mirror how a life could change so fast. I believe blonde it's not just an album, it is a ... read more

Radiohead - In Rainbows
95

In Rainbows is one of the most beautifully composed albums ever. I've actually cried listening to it, and not just one. I think it has this warm and raw feeling that makes it stand up against other albums. It feels like home, even when it's sad. In Raimbows is definitely one of my favorites.

92

The Ghost Pop Tape is honestly just amazing, every song feels so emotional yet so chaotic at the same time. It feels like youre in another world, i've now listened to it like a hundred times already and every time it hits. Every sound just like clicks together just to create ghostly, and passionate of an album and really, it is great.
