Such a good release, Spiritbox have always brought a refined sound to the metalcore genre but once again here the quality and sonic sphere is great. All songs have such a special groove - something I feel has been missing from a lot of contemporary metal releases.

The band continues to experiment with synths and industrial sounds but in a way that doesn't take away from the guitar-centric music, and definitely doesn't compromise the heaviness.

I love this album, I find it so hard to pick a favourite, its one of those I can just throw on at any time and be perfectly whisked away.
From the vocals, to the instruments, production and song-writing, I find the whole experience incredibly captivating.
Just listen to this whole thing PLEASE!!

A super strong start but ultimately gets a bit bland, a lot of the clean tracks honestly sound very similar, a sad departure from the peak sophomore. Still a fine and enjoyable time, just a shame the phenomenal songs are marred by the bland.
Fav songs: Special K, Passive Aggressive, Taste in Men.

the albums intro is painfully boring, not to overly criticise Anthony's voice but either you love it or hate it, generally his slurred style of vocals don't really suit the production, sounding compressed and auto-tuned in some sections.
Each track seems very uninspired, I remember liking the middle tracks but then it just starts to get unvaried and unmemorable again.
It isn't a bad album but I won't be returning to it any time soon, fine ... read more
