When the Kite String Pops is jam-packed with heavy riffs and even heavier topics. The vocals have a great sense of balance to them and are ushered to the forefront on downtempo cuts such as "Scream of the Butterfly". The lyrical content can be overbearing at times, but what do you expect when the cover is a Gacy illustration? The 'lowlights' on this record are when riffs and tracks seem to blend.
