ESCAPE PLAN: Average Travis banger, 75/100
MAFIA: Different from his usual style, and I fell in love with it. I think top 10 favorite Travis songs for me, 91/100.
Average: 83/100
Bettter than Hot Oned by quite a bit. Zel’ds hook and verse are both awesome. Mexican OT’s flow goes hella hard, I love his verse.
Thug’s hook was cool. Wheezy’s production was really dope. Wayne’s verses go hard, but the writing on the second is a bit off-putting. Still overhated song though.
A cool diss. Really enjoyable track. Nowhere near euphoria and meet the grahams, definitely closer to Family Matters than those two.
Just a good diss as Not Like Us, and by far a better track for pure listening. Fight me.
This is absolutely disgusting. Only not a 100 because it’s not a Story of Adidon or Ether.
As a Peggy fan, this has definitely taken a lot of listens to like. Still below average by Peggy’s standards, but at first I really hated it and now I’ve put it in my playlist. Still definitely not one of his best work’s.
This album is fine. Yeat's production never misses; all the beats are top tier. However, I think another artist would be able to use those beats for a lot better purpose than Yeat, who needs to work on his mic presence especially, as sometimes it seems he has no emotion for the song.
Best Song: Psycho CEO
Worst Song: Riot & Set it Off
In front of us, we have Little Simz’s magnum opus. This LP shows a completely new way to understand both Woman rap and UK rap, and I think it’s the greatest at both (if you don’t count Miseducation as rap). This album truly shows what we need for every project moving forwards. The only flaw I could find is that there’s too many interludes, but you can’t really judge an LP by that.
Best Song: Introvert
Worst Song: Speed
61 ---> 24 I waited for a while and listened to this album a lot of times since I made this review because I heard that you have to listen to it a lot to get it. And yet, every single time, the 24 minutes of this album felt like 2 hours (no joke). It was eternal and the flows literally attacked my ears.
I’m going to be honest. This record really disappointed me. I’ve heard incredible things about “Some Rap Songs,” so I decided I’d listen to it. The production ... read more
Is there no connection between the 18 tracks? Maybe. Does the cover freak me out (a lot)? Yes. Is this a bad album? Hell no. This LP is more creative than any other psychedelic rap record I've heard and one of the best projects of 2015. This is my favourite, and I think it is the best A$AP Rocky project, and also happens to be better than a comparable psychedelic, creative LP released in the same year, rodeo by Travis.
Best Song: Jukebox Joints
Worst Song: West Side Highway
A really vibe-y album. All the songs are fun to listen to, and I’ve already used the album to get through boring chores without being as bored. It’s downfall, however, is in it’s lack of concept and base-level lyrics. If you don’t care about that though, this album is certainly for you!
Best Song: BANDIT
Worst Song: LAST LAUGH
This is the peak of the perfect bald-headed Freddie Gibbs. Rapping over some beats from the greatest producer of all time (Madlib), Freddie really needed to bring his A-Game… and he delivered. Every song bar 3 are downright incredible. This LP can definitely be defined as one of the greatest of the 2010s. Also, the title-track/outro/posse cut is literally perfect, from Madlib’s production to the verses delivered by 7 DIFFERENT PEOPLE, for sure a track to remember.

This album has no right to be this good, and yet it is. There’s many artists who don’t have a better album than this, and it’s a COMPILATION? These are throwaways from TPAB… guess it shows how good TPAB is, and how good Kendrick is. Anyways 02 and 05 are otherworldly songs, especially the latter.
Best Song: 05
Worst Song: 04
After 5 years of waiting, I’m going to be honest I expected an album of the year from Kendrick. And, it would’ve been the year after, but 2022 was stacked. Maybe not worth the wait (after all, it only took 2 years for GKMC and 3 for TPAB), but still a great album. Accesible beats covering deep and personal topics, things that Kendrick is so good at merging.
Best Song: Auntie Diaries
Worst Song: Rich Spirit
This is a truly impeccable album. This is a sample-heavy 80’s hip-hop project, and a soundscape that would be truly impossible today. Along with Tribe’s “The Low End Theory,” De La made another purely Jazz Rap LP that could be the greatest of all time in their sub-genre (TPAB doesn’t count as Jazz Rap), which is a tall order considering what is in that pool. This is also probably the best 80’s rap album, with De La’s unique sound that sounds ... read more
What can I say… This record is beautiful. It’s Jazz influence is perfectly combined with Hip-Hop, possibly the best completely Jazz Rap record (TPAB is not completely Jazz Rap). Tribe really perfected that sound like no one else had, and probably no one ever will. Truly one of the greatest hip-hop records ever created. I also loved all the features, great picks for those. There’s nothing I can critique, other than maybe my personal replay value. But then again, I might just ... read more
DAMN, is this an incredible album. Kendrick’s 3rd best. This record seems to not be enjoyed as much by diehard hip-hop fans, but I think that it’s just because it’s being compared to the likes of GKMC and TPAB. This record actually includes some of Kendrick’s best songs, namely “DUCKWORTH.,” “FEAR.,” and “PRIDE..” There aren’t any skips on this album, although there are weaker songs like “GOD.” and ... read more
