For me it's the fucking best metalcore album i've hever heard. The first time i listened to A Sad Cartoon i realized i was in front of a masterpiece. The atmosphere, the heavy riffs, the dreamy vocals and the shoegazy chord elections are perfect. The rest of the album is not near to be even ok, it's a peak song after another. De lo mejorcito del screamo/post-hardcore en euskera/español. Cortito pero lleno de intensidad en todas sus canciones, un temazo tras otro en el que la emoción es más que palpable en todas las letras. Las mejores del album en mi opinión son Eraikin Zuria, Le Fleur, Purasangre y Gordetakoa, aunque todas tienen un nivel excelente.

Es uno de los albumes más personales y experimentales de la banda, pero también es uno cuyas letras a dan bastante vergüenza ajena a ratos, como en Nana de la Luna Pena o Gemini. Pese a ello tiene temazos como Vernissage, El Cristo de los Faroles, Elena Observando la Osa Mayor, Perfect Blue y Saturno Devorando a su Hijo. Es un album que acaba mejor que empieza y que experimenta combinando el post-hardcore, el shoegaze y el indie.

For me, it's some of the best nu metal/ post-hardcore bangers i've ever listened to. Memorable songs through all the album and an instrumental and vocal taste that many others cannot achieve. Peak songs are Be Quiet and Drive, Around the Fur, Lotion and Mascara. Headup is a bit lazy in comparision but it's still good.
If you like the contrast between angry and heavy nu metal and melodical, often dreamy vocals this is a must.
